A rare sterling silver modernist necklace by Phyllis Sklar, American Mid Century jeweler. This piece has a sterling wire overlay on a darkened, oxidized surface adorned with an oval moonstone cabochon, three small pearls, a green bezel set stone, (maybe jade) and dangles of pale green and dark red bezel set cabochons.

Measures 16 1/2" long with a 1 3/4" drop in the center. Has the stylized 'p' hallmark, phyllis and sterling on the back.

A rare flower and dove bracelet, #23 in sterling silver with Chrysoprase cabochons designed by the Danish silversmith, Georg Jensen. Marked with the stylized GJ in a rectangle that dates it between 1933-44. Also marked with Sterling, Denmark, 925 and 23 for the style number.

Measures 7" long and 1" at the widest. Weighs 35 gr. Has a round box closure that holds securely. Additionally it has a fold over safety catch.

RARE modernist sterling and rhodochrosite bracelet by Theodor Fahrner, Germany, c.1960's. This famed maker closed shop in the 1970's and produced a very small output of modernist designs. The substantial bracelet is made of heavy gauge silver(weighs 3 troy oz or 90 gms) and measures 7" long. This unusual massive cuff bracelet has a large spinach green and yellow striated raised agate. Very three dimensional.

Measures 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1 1/8". Does not have much flexibilty. Measures 2 7/8" wide at the front. Weighs 105 gr.

A heavy sterling bracelet marked with the Jensen logo (post 1945) Denmark Sterling 56A. The five oval coral cabs measure 6.5mm x 4mm. The bracelet is 7" and weighs 49.4gr. Light wear.

Modernist handmade 14k and amethysts pin by the very famous Danish designer, Hans Hansen(1884-1940). This wonderful architectural design is a very simple curved pin with an amethyst at either end. Made of very heavy gauge gold, it is signed "HANS HANSEN(in script) DENMARK 585 #104" and is in excellent condition. Of good size, it measures 2 1/2" long. Excellent, elegant circa 1940s necklace by William Spratling, arguably the most important name in Mexican Silver. Heavy for it's size, this solid liquid silver necklace is constructed of hollow silver bars over seven silver chains of variying lengths. This design is understated, and extremely rare. The shortest chain measures just under 15" in length. The necklace is authentic and bears Spratling's circa 1940s stamp. Excellent vintage condition.

An important, rare modernist brooch by the renowned African American jeweler, Art Smith. Has a copper ball caged in swirled brass coils. The ball moves for an interesting effect.

Structuralist bracelet & earring set by noted modernist Paul Lobel, who produced innovative jewlery in his New York studio in the 1950s. Consisting of ridgid sterling silver links and matching earrings with their original srew-back mechanisms. The bracelet has an integrated hidden hook clasp. This rare set of five hand wrought 1930's sterling silver heart shaped buttons were designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling in the 1930's. Each button measures 3/4" X 3/4". All are in beautiful condition & each is signed on the reverse with the early WS hallmark. In our 30+ years of collecting Spratling we have never come across this design.

A great, 950 sterling silver cuff bracelet by Haroldo Burle Marx with a large bezel set 'Forma Livre' opaque black carved stone.

Marked 950 and BURLE MARX on the inside. Measures 6 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Measures 1" at the widest. Weighs 104 gr.

Fine condition. There are some minor surface scratches to the finish. There is a slight separation at the underside of the bezel but the stone is stable.

This extremely exciting and entertaining piece is circa 1970s. It is slightly convex. The back is marked with the eagle number 20, STERLING. It is also marked HECHO EN MEXICO DF, 925 and a maker's mark that resembles conjoined letters - see pictures. The pin / brooch has a diameter of 1 5/8". Japanese black lacquered on woven Bamboo Trunk, with red lacquered wooden frame on the bottom, Ca. 1920's, 14 1/2" high, 27 1/4" x 15 1/4" wide, two(2) black iron lock compartment on the side and large handles in front and back and corners are wrapped around with black iron. Wooden stretchers on the bottom to support for strength, blue rice paper lining inside the top and the bottom. Some black lacquer loses on the surface and corners are worn.
