An unusually large ceramic figure of a reclining animal, probably a Dog, in greish clay with painted details of necklace, eyes and claws in red.

A fine representation, perhaps made as tomb pottery.

Size: 11,3 cm. long and 9 cm. tall.

Condition: Good Very fine, with tiny loss to it's ears or horns, othervise choice and with preserved pigments.

A rare and attractive early Egyptian vessel / beaker, dating to the Old Kingdom, 2649 - 2150 BC.

The conical beaker with a wide flat rim and craved in finely banded alabaster.

Size: 68 mm. tall. and 62 mm. wide over the rim.

Condition: Very fine for the very rare type, with small chip to the rim restored.

Rectangular basalt mortar vessel with stand plate and domed depression inside. Middle Kingdom, 2137 - 1781 B.C.

A very attractive motar vessel with fine ancient patina and wear from use, but completely intact.

A lovely depiction of Buddha enthroned, interesting early provincial SE Asian style, c. 15th.-17th. cent. AD.

The style is very attractive with a beautiful painted visage with serene features. The style looks mostly like provincial Thai, but we're not certain. The figure has much age and a fine dark gilt patina.

A fine depiction of a Jackal on a larger amulet, probably from the The 26th Dynasty / Saite Period, 664 BC to 525 BC.

In light green faiance finely detailed on one side only as is typical for these.

A rare large inscribed heart scarab, Late Kingdom, after 660 BC.

The heart scarab carved in a redish type of sandstone or perhaps a type of red stoneware, glazed with an almost perfectly intact dark green gaze. Made as a somewhat cheaper alternative to the green basalt hardstone scarabs of the period. Finely inscribed on the base with 6 lines of hieroglyphs, tradionally with passages from the Book of Death, but untranslated by us.

Depicting a crouching lion with large mane in torquise faiance.

An large accomplisheed Two-finger amulet, Egypt, Late Period, 664 - 322 B.C.

The amulet well-modelled in a fine glossy black obsidian

Size: 73 mm. mm. long.

Condition: Very fine, loss to part of the smaller right fnger.

Two-finger amulets were used for the dead and were often found on the lower left of the torso. This is the area of the incision that was made during the mummification process in order to remove the internal organs...

Conical striped alabaster mortar vessel with two handles on the upper rim. 3rd Intermediate Period, c. 1075-800 BC.

Very attractive sturdy motar in very beautiful banded stone. Finely sculptured with the twin handles and the perfect symethric shape.

Size: c. 10,4 cm. wide over the handles and c. 7 cm. tall.

Condition Intact with nice patina.

A lovely large and heavy pair ot tweezers for the removal of bodily hair, Chimü or earlier, c. 600-1100 AD.

Very vivid piece done in reppousee to resample the bust of a human.

Size: 38 x 32 mm. and weighing 8.44 grams in quite good gold alloy, probably around 18 carats.

Condition: Good Very fine, a few minor dents but completely intact and still workable.

A large and profusely engraved blackstone cylinder seal, Western Mesopotamia / Cappadocia, 2000-1600 BC.

Very interesting with a bird-headed deity seated in front of a fierce winged demon standing on the back of an animal; with multiple creatures, insect-like and other animals on the entire surface.

Size: 26 mm. tall and 17 mm. wide so an impressive seal in hand.

Condition: Extremely fine with some mild corrsoion in parts and fine patina with redish deposits...

A lovely and unusually large scaraboid seal, Middle-Neo-Assyrian, c. 12th.-9th. century BC.

Winged Deity, probably Ashur tending the Tree of Life, all within an oval frame. Stylized scarab carved in an attractive greenish brown stone.

A lovely laqered & gilt bronze figure of the infant buddha, standing on a tall Lotus throne, Chinese Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD), probably dating around 1500-1550 AD.

Finely rendered features and beautiful patina!

The large seal of the hemispheric form and probably Parthian or early Sasanian, so like 0-500 AD, could be earlier though.

Done in a fantastic stone type - black with a spiders web of lighter colours. Attractive in hand. The shape of this stamp seal was probably invented by the Neo-Babylonians and continuued to be made in the near east until the end of the Sasanian period. The base is engraved with an unidentified cruciform symbol.

Very attractive large seal in smooth dark serpentine and carved with a stylized zoomorphic depiction.

A beautiful Chinese pottery tomb figure of a female rider / Attendant on horseback holding a string instrument in her hand. The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

The figure is finely glazed in cobalt blue and turqoise colors. Pigmented colours in red, white and black.

She has an elaborate high headdress and was made with many finely painted details, high quality.

Size: c. 37 cm. high and 28 cm. long - a massive figure!

A huge collection of 19 flint blades and flakes dating to around 5th-4th mill B.C. Some could also be earlier since blades like these were used through both Mesolithic and Neolithic periods. They were easy to make and very sharp and efficient tools.

Many from this collection still have sharp edges, and could be used today.

Sizes up to ca. 10-12 cm.

Condition: A very fine collection with nice patinas.
