Interesting and very rare pendant or finial of the Hittite period in Anatolia, c. mid 2nd. millenium BC.

The finial shaped with a bull head on top of another bull.

Size: 6 cm. long and 4,5 cm. tall.

Condition: Fine, earthern green patina, somewhat flaking at the edges, but sound enough.

A massive and highly attractive bronze ring with winged horse and rabbit(?) below, Parthian Empire, 247 BC - 224 AD.

A deeply engraved oval bezel and oval ring ring with broad shoulders.

Ring-Size: 53-54 - male size with inner diameter of c. 20 mm.

Condition: Extremely fine for type, sound metal, wearable with a nice olive patina.

A rare substantial rectangular stamp seal with pronounced handle at the back and engraved with a fine 4 parallel panels of Zig-zag patterns, c. 4th. millenium BC, perhaps somewhat earlier.

Size: 24-25 mm. long and 20 mm. wide.

Condition: Good Very Fine, near perfect condition and fine patina.

A nice small collection of 19 seal bullae stamped in lead, dating from c. 12th.-14th. century for the oldest up to c. 17th.-18th. century!

Interesting group incl. several with Coat of Arms and perhaps also city stamps.

Size: Up to c. 4,8 cm.

Interesting and massive bronze ring with standing human on the Bezel, Amlash / South Caspian Sea area, c. early 2nd. millenium BC.

An unsually large ring for it's type. Normally these are decorated with applied patterns on a spiral - in this case the ringmaker also found space for a standing human figure with a weapon or a staff in his left hand, likely a mythical figure or a warrior. Lovely red and blue-green patina!

A fine hardstone cyliner seal, Middle Assyrian Empire, 1363-912 BC.

The seal is carved in a matte-black stone and depicts a hunting scene with the great bending to shoot an arrow against a 4-legged animal, crescent above.

Size: 26-27 mm. tall and 11 mm. thick.

Condition: VF, intact with some wear and fine patination and micro deposits.

Interesting huge seal from the Oberländer collection. It was described as unidentified and probably ceramic, but to us it looks like Limestone, but we're not certain. At first glance it looks like a Pre-Columbian seal, but details doesn't compute and there were no Pre-Columbian seals in the collection, so it could be from Mesopotamia / Western Asia, we're not certain.

It's sold as guaranteed ancient and 800+ years old.

A finely carved and poslished square stamp seal, Anatolian / Levantine, c. 2nd.-1st. millenium BC.

Engraved with an archaic style 4-legged animal and probably from the Hittite / Neo-Hittite colonies of the later 2nd. mill. BC. Attractive with elaborately carved handle.

Size: Square, c. 15-16 mm.

Condition: Extremely fine, intact with fine smooth wear and earthern deposits.

A scarce specimen of a Danish Neolithic Axe with a pointed neck, dating to 3500-2500 BC.

This type of axe were one of the early developments from the from the primitive core axes of the hunters and gatherers. It is found alongside the thinbutted axes, and most finds are in the eastern parts of Denmark.

This specimen is unpolished, could be an unfinished 'prework'.

A very nicely shaped axe head, tapering from the edge to the pointed neck.

Interesting tall stamp seal with a bell-shaped body and large loop, probably ancient Armenian area, Lake Van, 2nd. mill. BC.

Large and impressive openwork silver 'temple' ring of a very elaborate type, Viking settlers from Scandinavia (Kingdom of the Rus or Kievan Rus), present day Ukraine, c. 800-1000 AD.

Beautiful and still wearable temple ring, in solid silver, which consists of a bow ring with a loop and a large elaborately carved hanger. These rings were worn from a headband around the temples by Viking Rus women, hence the name Temple rings.

Separately made hair of brownish chlorite or steatite for the famous composite stone figures which are often missing their wigs / hairs actually!

A particularly well-carved hair with spiral-twisting indicated by grooves. Fine brownish stone.

Interesting massive seal with a provenance going back to the French Dealer j. Vinchon 1973. Greenstone seal with stylized engravings in the base and worn through handle from extensive use. Very early dating to the 5th. mill. BC or even earlier!
