A rare early Ortodox Icon Jesus Kristus Pantokrator, stamped and dated, Moskva, 1874.

Finely handpainted Icon with a beautifully chiseled Ritza in high grade silver 84. The piece was made by Viktor Sawinkows 1855-1888, stamped with his mark.

Height: 22 cm. and 18 cm. wide.

Condition: Choice for the high age and the silver lightly toned.

A fine authentic ancient pottery bowl, Islamic, 12th century A.D. (494 AH – 597 AH). Ancient near East.

Cream, blue and black glazed pottery dish on a short foot. The center decorated with faint floral patterns in relief in the manor of the Seljuqs.

Condition: Very fine, a few cracks basically restored. Exceptional silverish iridescence patina that is difficult to picture.

Absolutely stunning conically shaped pottery bowl with a red and blue decoration on a cream-white ground: A fine lady standing amidst flowers, holding a purse (?). Beautiful archaic style, from prior to the Ban of figural representation in the art of Islam.

A white-slipped terracotta bowl with a rounded base, curved walls, a deep interior cavity, and a thin rim.

It features a nice geomethric decoration in a rich brown hue.

Size: 12,5 cm. in diameter and ca. 7-8 cm. tall.

Condition: Nice and intact, small pinhole in the wall and a blemmage in the bottom, perhaps oil or residue from former mounting?

An exceptional earthenware bowl with incised decoration in a white slip and painted in green and manganese in a yellowish glaze (Bamiyan type), afghanistan, 12th. century (Pre 1221 A.D.).

With carinated walls, pseudo-caligraphy and symethric decorations in high relief. As typical for the most boldest specimens, the green colours are sort of splashed on.

Size: 18 cm. in diameter, 8 cm. high.

Condition: Superb, small loss of glace, fine glossy surfaces with crackle...

An auspicious element in Hindu tradition, Deepalakshmi is a representation of Goddess Lakshmi, holding a lamp or a ‘deepa’ (diya) in her hands. Featuring a lamp that can be lit, a Deepalakshmi is a symbol of good luck and prosperity, and the light that guides one in times of darkness and adversity.

Made in bronze, this exquisite Deepalakshmi, most likely from Karnataka, features Goddess Lakshmi holding a single diya.

A rare representation of an Opussum on a stirrup pottery vessel, Pre-columbian, Vicús Culture 100 BC. - 300 AD.

Very attractive sculpturing in redish clay.

Length: 22 cm.

Condition: Choice for type and culture, a long hairline repaired crack through the vessel, othervise intact in all it's parts. Vicüs vessels are usually always cracked and this an honest piece that could be restored so that this crack is not visible with little effort.

Costa Rican facial vessel from the Central Highlands - Atlantic Watershed Zone, dating to ca. 400-700 AD.

A beautiful bowl in a fine condition for the type, red slip and with a high handle. Archaic style faces in relief on the corpus.

Size: ca. 10 cm. wide and 10 cm. high.

Condition: Choice! Really nice and intact bowl, short closed stress hairline in the bottom is no distraction, from this othervise perfect quality pice. No repairs or losses.
