A nice example of white glaze boy figure smiling and the left hand holding "Ruyi', the right hand holding a fruit. Possibly Early Qing Kangxi 18th century . Condition with two hand of the finger is missing and as well as half of the Ruyi head, further is in good condition. Height: 17,3 cm.

A Qing dynasty 18th century blue glaze square vase, tall body with short neck and glazed base, vase is in good condition no damage no restoration, size: 27 cm including wooden stand.

This is one of the most well painted Kangxi "flower basket" plates I've seen, in an excellent shade of Kangxi cobalt blue. Please compare with a similar "flower basket" plate in the British Museum (Franks.221).

From our Shipwreck Porcelain Collection, a fine blue and white dish, ex-Christie's, executed in the "Peony and Pomegranate Pattern" from the so-called "Nanking Cargo," which is the term applied to the porcelain recovered from the wreck of the Geldermalsen that sank on January 3rd, 1752. Buddha in bronze cast with lost wax and gilded with mercury. The walls are very thick, the statuette is heavy. The gilding is original, certainly baked several times to obtain a nice thickness. The reverse of the dress is chiseled with stylized flowers. The base is closed by an incised copper plate of Vajra. The base does not appear to have been opened. The two arm bracelets were originally to have stone beads, today replaced by a colored coating...

A moulded porcelain deep dish, with barbed rim, painted in shades of under glaze blue depicting two celestial ladies in a garden setting enclosed by a broad border of radiating floral panels.

This item was made in Jingdezhen, China, for export to Europe, early in the reign of the Yongzheng emperor (1722-1735). Similar dishes were recovered from the "Ca Mau" ship wreck which sank off the coast of Vietnam, circa 1725.
