A very large and well-made flanged Javelin head, Danish stoneage, Neolithic period, Daggertime, latest fase, after 2000 BC.

The head is knapped in the parallel style, othervise only known from the fine daggers of the period, with flanges and with microchipping towards the edges.

Size: c. 7 cm. long.

Condition: Intact and choice with a few micro ancient losses. Fine white and calsified patina.

A lot of 4 very nice to choice silex axes, dating to the Singlegrave and Daggertime periods, 2800-2000 BC.

Mostly polished axes with a attractive brown and grey patinations and in choice conditions with only minimal edge damage.

Size: ca. 9-10,5 cm. long each.

A very atractive bronze seal ring with two confronting figures, probably angels, standing, Late Roman-Byzantine, 4th.-6th. century AD.

The ring of a typical Roman design with raised shoulders and oval bezel.

Ringsize (inner diameter): 19 mm.

A very beautiful tall figural alabastron in form of Kore, Eastern Greek, Middle of the 6th century BC.

The portrait is in the tradition of the Kore representations, here as a young elegant woman holding a bird in her left hand, red-brown terracotta.

Height: 18,2cm.

Condition: Good Very fine, completely intact with very minor wear and deposits.

A really nice set of Danish Neolithic weapons, incl. a huge lancet dagger and a pophyre battle-axe, mid-late 3rd. mill. BC.

Both pieces are housed together in a costum oak box with beige skin inside.

The dagger really large and and of the finest parallel knapping of the period. Unfortunately, an almost invisible hairline repair and small loss to the tip - 25,3 cm. long!

The battle axe made in a fine pophyre stone with nice inclusions...

Cylindrical body with a lid and extensive line and zig-zag decorations on the face body with applied bronze thread. On the lid a large archaic head of a female with elaborate applied hair, facial details and large earrings...

A fine intact stone wig / seperate hair, BACTRIA-MARGIANA, late 3RD- early 2ND mill B.C.

Separately made hair of brownish chlorite or steatite for the famous composite stone figures which are often missing their wigs / hairs actually!

A particularly well-carved hair with spiral-twisting indicated by grooves. Fine brownish stone.

A high quality trapezoid stamp seal of the Neo-Babylonian type, 8th.-6th. cent. AD.

unusual and very beatiful stone used to carve this accomplished seal in antiquity. The stone is a banded agate with red inclusions, carved and polished in a an octagonal and pyramidal shape.

The seal engraved with a springing stagg or deer.

Size: 20 mm. tall and 18 mm. wide at the base.

Condition: Choice and intact, minor ancient wear.

A fine set of three bronze and copper daggers, East Caspian Sea area, 3rd.-2nd. mill. BC.

The set includes one extremely fine dagger of later fabric, probably 1200-800 BC with a long bend tang.

Condition: Choice VF to Extremely fine, uncleaned with sandy deposits.

An attractive Assyrian black serpentine cylinder seal of a large size, carved with a Deity in front of a prancing horse or Unicorn, many symbols in the fields, Mesopotamia, Neo-Assyrian period, 9th.-7th. cent. BC.

Height: 31 mm, and diameter is c. 10 mm.

Condition: Nice Very fine and completely intact. Deposits and old clay in the devices so the imprint could surely be even better.

A very rare western Mesopotamian scaraboid seal with an engraving of a seated king on Throne holding his sceptre as a sign of his status, Western Mesopotamia, 2nd. mill. BC.

Attractive translucent stone, rarely seen as a material for early period scaraboids. Finely polished with curving sides in a peculiar squarish shape. Quite nicely engraved motif, better than the imprint indicates. On the back faint enhgraving of cross.

A lovely renaissance style pewter flagon or jug, made by Ulrich Appel in Nuremberg, Germany c. mid-late 17th. century.

Ulrich Appel became a master of pewter in 1659 and this vessel would have been made shortly thereafter.
