A large and beautiful green/torquise coloured tanged bronze sword, Ancient Near East dating to the early 1st. mill BC.

Commonly termed 'Luristani' by dealers and collectors.

An elaborate sword blade with shiny light green to torquise patina. Round shoulders and three prominent central midribs forming a lovely pattern running in the full length of the blade, a construction which points to the later manifacturing date of ca. 1100-700 BC.

Wonderful large pottery head, perhaps a theatre head, Roman Egypt, 1st.-3rd. century AD.

The human head with grotesque features.

Size: 87 mm. x 85 mm.

Condition: Very fine, missing one ear othervise completely intact and choice! Nice old brownish patina.

The seal is carved in rock-crystal and is very attractive, Sasanian, ca. 3rd.-6th. century AD.

The base of this hemispheric seal is engraved with a firealter that gives a very high relief impression in wax.

Size: 16 mm. wide.

Condition: Very fine and intact.

A wonderful sculptured stone head of Buddha in grey Scist, Gandhara, ca. 1st.-3rd. century AD.

Elaborate hair and carved in a nice style, part of a relief.

A finely patinated figure of Buddha seated on an interesting segmented Lotus throne with a Halo behind. Nice serene expression.

The seal in engraved with what looks like ancient scriptsigns, but it needs further research.

Interesting pair of Coptic carvings, one shaped as a Cross, the other rectangular with bulls-eye decoration.

A beautiful silver bust of a Godess, Roman Imperial, 1st.-3rd. century AD.

Very nice roman style and of high grade and partly gilt silver.

Condition: Superb, attractive old greyish toning.

A large pendant (?) usage unknown, but perhaps verification or ownership, Byzantine, 5th.-7th. century AD.

A lead pendant (amulet?) in form of a round disc with bar and monogram and greek letters.

Massive piece weighing 43,8 grams and 4,1 cm. long.

Bactrian bronze compartmentalized seal, Late 3rd - Early 2nd Millennium BC. Simple design on the round base, tall handle. Beautyful brown patina - attractive!. Interesting design in compartements.

Condition: Superb! Exceptional brown patina!

A rare representation of an Opussum on a stirrup pottery vessel, Pre-columbian, Vicús Culture 100 BC. - 300 AD.

Very attractive sculpturing in redish clay.

Length: 22 cm.

Condition: Choice for type and culture, a long hairline repaired crack through the vessel, othervise intact in all it's parts. Vicüs vessels are usually always cracked and this an honest piece that could be restored so that this crack is not visible with little effort...

A very fine lot of four larger stamp seals in superb stones (Banded carnelian, Calchedony), Sassanian, 3rd.-6th. century AD.

The lot includes different motifs on 4 nicely polished elipsoid seals.

Size: 21-23 mm. wide.

Condition: Choice and intact, finely patinated.

Ex. Egeskov Collection, an important and rare collection of Sassanian seals, handpicked over 30 years of collecting.

An interesting and scarce geomethric carving on an gable form stamp seal, found Near Antioch (Western Mesopotamia and present day easternmost Turkey), dating c. 4th. millenium BC or somewhat later.

Finely carved in greenish stone. Drill carved with stars!

Size: 28 x 18 mm. and 18 mm. tall.

Condition: Nice Very fine, uncleaned deposits but sharp!

Interesting 11 cm. tall Roman marble fragment, weighing c. 630 grams.

The piece could look like an animal ear, but is probably from folds on a toga. A nice and inexpensive Roman sculptural art in marble.

Provenance: Collection of Gunna Munkvad, Denmark, aquired from the 1950s-1980s.

A fine very large gable seal carved in white stone with smaller and larger animal, Western Mesopotamia, 4th. mill. BC.

Size: 37 mm long and 27 mm wide, 11 mm thick.

Condition: VF, basically intact with minor wear to the edges.

Very attractive thick early geomethric style cylinder seal, carved in marble or another calsite glossy stone, Mesopotamia, Jemdet Nasr period, c. 3300-2900 BC.

Impressive size in hand in a beautiful stone, scarce!

A fantastic quality Middle- or Neo-Assyrian cylinder seal of a tall and thick type, c. 12th.-8th. century BC.

The seal carved in a rare attractive green-black stone with an Archer and winged sphinx. Top and bottom with a fine herringbone band. Multiple symbols in the fields and the archer has a detailed quiver on his back.

Size: 41 mm. tall and 14-15 mm. thick...

A very impressive and extremely rare sculptural plaque in pottery, Greek, ca. 2nd. century BC.

Gorgoneion is depicted in 3D on top with wings and a lovely expression, the round Aegis below.

Size: 18 cm. wide and the head 4,5 cm. deep and 7-8 cm. tall.

Condition: Intact in all it's parts. The Aegis reassembled from fragments.
