This is a genuine Ming Chenghua ( 1465 - 1487 ) minyao blue and white " ducks " dish. This rare piece has the wonderful watery blue, the honey white body and the extremely nice silky glaze, which is all typical for the genuine Chenghua pieces. A really extremely nice kollector piece in nice kondition - there only is one single minute chip. The dish is also very well painted at the back site in a typical Chenghua design ! D : 6,7 inc.

The Koto is a string instrument that originated in China and came to Japan in the 7th ¨C 8th century. The Japanese Koto is a large instrument, about six feet long. This 17th century carved polychrome wood head of Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy) is 15 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 7 inches in depth. The solid teak wood base is 3 ¼ inches high, 9 inches wide and 8 ¾ inches in depth. This statue was part of the collection of a professor who spent over 20 years in China. Some of the color has come off and there is a long crack on the back of her head due to the age of this statue.
