Antique Chinese robe,alte 19th or early 20th century, brocaded blue silk ground with embroidered collar, sleeves, and borders- Birds, flowers, butterflies, foo dogs, and other buddhist auspicious symbols.
Overall is very good condition, no frays, no tears.
An interesting Chinese kesi fabric depicting children wrestling near a watermelon like object and women engaged in Tai Chi-like activity. A pagoda like building can be seen behind the figures engaged in the activities. Age: Republic Period. Size: height 38.5" width 10.5"
A pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain cups. Nicely painted decoration of three flower arrangements on each cup - the bouquets respectively centering a peony, a chrysanthemum and a camellia bloom (appearing to represent blooms from different seasons.) The cobalt blue has a deep, clean quality. Late 19th to early 20th century. Condition is good - one cup with small flake inside the foot rim (illustrated.) Height each, little more than 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm)...

Antique Chinese pleated skirt, made of pinkish red silk with iridescent auspicious elements, with a bright green silk interior. It has blue silk pleats and small, sewn flowers made of blue and white thread towards the bottom, a large front and back panel of flora in white, navy, light, and medium blue thread, with a large central peony flora in forbidden stitching and outlined in sturdy gold thread...
Antique Chinese pair of yellow glaze bowls with incised flying dragons and clouds of smoke along its outer edges, and a single dragon within double rings on the inside center. Wonderful crackling in the glaze is most apparent near the rim and the foot of each bowl. The bottom of each bowl has a Xuande period mark, but most likely dates from the 19th century Ching Dynasty.

Adorable embroidered silk children's jacket. Considering the elaborate embroidery on both sides this was probably a festival jacket. China, late 19th/early 20th century. Dimensions: H. 35 cm , W. 83 cm. Condition: expected wear, discoloring, stains and a few holes in the silk top layer. The glass eyes of the dragon on the back are missing.

It depicts mirrored images of a deer and crane, a popular Buddhist motif also called the Six Harmonies, representing everything on earth under heaven, bordered by geometric scrolling patterns. 19th century.

Large Japanese antique oshi-e ningyo(doll), Geisha playing the koto: Matsumoto Oshi-e bina (hina ningyo in Oshi-e style) was originally made by the
Samurai family who served in the Matsumoto Castle to supplement their income sometime in the mid Edo period (1603-1868). They became quite quite popular in the 1800s, 400 million dollars sale (in current currency) was recorded in 1888...
Antique Chinese Famille Rose porcelain brush pot with scenes of a pair of birds of paradise in a garden of peonies and chrysanthemums with butterflies flying about. It bears a seal on the base. It is attributed to Jia Qing. It measures 5.75" tall 5" wide at mouth, 4.75" at base.
Bamboo Vests were used as undershirts under silk garments. They served the duel purpose of allowing some air circulation and protected the silk garments from body oils. These vest were fragile and they have become very rare and hard to find. They were made with small pieces of bamboo which are literally strung together to form a garment. This bamboo vest is a particularly nice one...

This early 20th century Japanese silver wire cloisonné vase is 7 3/8 inches high and 4 inches on the widest part. It depicts a rose blossom and buds. It is in excellent condition.
Beautiful silk panel with deep blue edging, decorated with Chinese characters in gold thread and flowers in light shades of blue, green, and pink. The center of the panel is light green silk, with two mirrored fenghuang birds with long, gold tails and pink, blue and gold thread feathers, surrounded by pink and blue silk flowers with gold accenting.
