Antique famille rose brush pot, made of Chinese porcelain and decorated with two perched quails, surrounded by flowers in hues of purple, pink, yellow, orange, and blue. The bottom of the vase has a Jian Ding seal that reads "Shende Tang Zhi", meaning "Made for the Hall of Prudent Virtue" (1831-1850). 19th century Size: 4.75" tall, 3" diameter

Chinese Qing dynasty porcelain bowl with high foot decorated around the circumference with three blue and white landscape roundels set against a robin’s egg (lu jun) ground. The unglazed slightly recessed base has a central aperture leading to the hollow interior of the foot. A luting line is evident around the mid-section of the foot. 5 3/8” diameter by 3 1/8” high. 19th century or possibly earlier. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs...

Delicate silver mesh purse with a solid clasp handle. Exquisite floral design around the top of the purse. The front body of the mesh purse is also decorated with fringes. Made of 800 silver. The silver seal is located at the clasp.

An Emil Puirforcat French first standard (.950) silver round box with a gold washed interior. The surface of the exterior covered with engine turning and engraved wreaths punctuated with blossoms. 3 3/8 inches (8.5 cm) diameter and 1 inch (2.5 cm) tall. Weight approx. 154 grams.

Marked on the interior of the lid with the first standard mark for after 1838, the “EP” touch for Emil Puiforcat and the number 2308...

This is a fine Bamboo Kiseruzutsu carved, in high relief, the image of Rakan holding an Alms Bowl.. It has a large opening for the insertion and holding of a smoking pipe. It is highly polished, with a mellow patina. It is signed, in seal form, Bunko on the bottom portion of the piece. The kiseruzutsu measures 8.0 inches (20 cm) long, and 0.82 inches (2.1cm) in diameter...

Beautiful Japanese inro with a swimming highly detailed koi fish on each side. Each koi is delicately carved out of tortoise shell with glass eyes and details in gold lacquer. The body of the info is original lacquer in gold with with gold details and raised tendrils of water. 4 individual pieces (3 compartments), signed on bottom "Kyushi", Edo Period Early 18th century. Kajikawa was one of the most talented families of lacquer artists, specializing in inrô. They worked for the Tokugawa shogunate from the 17th to the 19th century. Inrô of three black lacquer compartments decorated with raden (mother-of-pearl inlay) of ducks on the water or in flight on both sides. One of the faces shows four ducks (one per box) in different postures among a decoration of stylized bamboo leaves. The upper one in flight, head to the right, the second facing left and about to land, wings spread apart, the third in a resting position, head on its wing, the fourth on the water, leaning its head forward...

Antique Korean single section bedside chest, with book matched front panels of hardwood burl. Four drawers line the top of the chest with brass handles in motifs of butterflies. The front of the chest features a pair of doors with a large brass central plate and brass butterfly hinges.
