Lovely large silver plate tray with beading center decoration and trim, with beading around the edges. It has raised handles with wood in the center, and small raised feet. I can't find any markings on it, but it is definitely old and lovely. It measures 26" long by 19" deep and can easily hold a lovely tea set.

A lovely Late Gothic style, German christian bronze or bell-metal censor, with fine gilt and hanging in Iron-cut cruciform chains, also adorned with firegilt globular hangers, Northern Germany, c. mid 17th. century.

An incense burner that would have been hanging in a church. The Vessel is decorated with three female busts in the Gothic style from which each of the three long chains are suspended. A the top a circular plate with a cutout brass finial.

There are no markings on this piece but we have seen the exact design on other items identified from the Copeland factory. It measures 4 3/4 inches from the handle to the spout and is 1 1/2 inches high. The porcelain appears to be ironstone china. The shape of the lamp is taken from the ancient Greeks. This round inkstone was carved out of a naturally occurring layered stone...both the bottom and cover viewed from the side show the striation of the stone.The covered has a pond design etched with raised koi fish. A lovely very early and seldomly encountered German brass bucket with handle, dated and initialized to 1714!

The fine bucket hammered in repousee with some wonderful high relief depictions of leafs and cluster of grapes in the baroque manor. On the front a medallion with an inscription, which reads, GHENDT ANNO 1714. The bucket with an implement for a missing lid on the back. Typical wear and soldering during the time of use.

A beautiful small and petite three tiered sweet meat and condiment box set, done in the famille rose palette. This lovely set dates to the late 19th to very early 20th century pre-1910. Except for some wear to the gold gilt band around the top edge of the lid, the box and enamels are in excellent condition. It measures a little over 4 inches high x 3.25" diameter.

Very interesting Roman pottery oil lamp with a Roman empress or high born lady on the discus, ca. mid 2nd. century AD.

The lamp can be dated quite accurately since the hairstyle of the lady is from the period of Hadrian-Antoninus Pius, so no later than 170 AD.

Size: 12 cm. a large and quite massive lamp.

Condition: Very nice and intact, with traces of corrosion.
