A rare thinly potted and extremely well painted deep dish with exceptionally fine porcelain body. The base carries the six character reign mark of the Jiajing emperor (1522-1566) enclosed within a double circle but this item was probably made later, in the 16th/17th Century, during the reign of the Wanli emperor (1573-1619). Condition: there is production glaze loss (fritting) to the rim but no cracks or damages and no restoration...
An attractively decorated "famille rose" dish on pale green 'celadon' ground made for export, circa 1840, during the reign of the Daoguang emperor (1821 - 1850). Condition - there are some surface losses to the blue enamels and there is a very small under rim chip - no cracks and no restoration...
A large and exceptional example of fine American tinsel or foil painting featuring a pair of pheasants on branches, surrounded by a wreath of flowers. The scene has the rare "snowflake" type of background. Although tinsel painting was at its height in America from 1850 to 1890 the snowflake technique appears to have been done primarily in the 1870's period.

This is a small and charming child's gameboard, measuring 13 3/4" long by 10 3/4" wide by 3/4" thick. It was found in Vermont, and most likely originated there. It is made of maple, with bread-boarded ends, affixed with square nails. The dry paint surface, with its red and black checkerboard, outlined with green stripes, is in superb condition, with no overpainting or areas of loss. The wood itself is in excellent shape, with 2 minor age cracks, and a knothole in the back which fell out...

Condition : 2 short nearly not visible hairlines. No chip and the glaze in a very nice condition.
A Song/Yuan Celadon Ewer. Height approximately 9 cm and length approximately 10 cm (the tipspout to the handle). The ewer has a small rim chip , a firing crack inside and a slightly different color tone. Good condition.
