Edwardian sterling silver picture frame. Retailed by JE Caldwell in Philadelphia. Rectangular with alternating vertical plain and pinstripes. At top horizontal frame between engraved garlands. With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged support. Marks include maker’s (Lebkeucher) and retailer’s stamps and no. 2707JJB. Good condition. Top rail has minor lifting. Velvet wear and discoloration.

German Nymphenburg porcelain Soup Tureen and Cover, 13" wide with handle, and 9 1/2" diameter-top rim, 8 1/2" high, with applied three(3) dimensional Apple knob with branch of leaves, and molded Rococo style handles. Hand painted two(2) blue bouquet flowers in 2 or 3 different shades of blue, smaller bunch of flowers spread out in several areas, some are on top of the molded basket weave design borders...

A very fine Chinese export porcelain sauce tureen with blue decoration in the Fitzhugh pattern. The oval body is finely potted with intertwined twig handles and applied berries where they join the body. The lid has floral finial. The quality and detail of decoration suggests a date in the early part of the 19th century. The glaze has a slight bluish cast.

An extraordinary Chinese Rose Medallion tureen with underplate, grand size and details. The tureen measures 15 1/4" wide to ends of handles, is 10" deep and 12" high. The underplate measures 14 3/4" x 11 1/4" and is 1 3/4" high. Edwardian Classical sterling silver bowl. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1906. Solid oval well and curved sides with pierced diaper and open leafing scrollwork. A beautiful example of a Lowestoft porcelain pickle leaf dish with a grape and vine decoration and the berry border. Vein molded on the reverse. The foot rim has a workman's mark.

The condition is excellent, with no flaws. Light areas in the photo are due to reflections as opposed to paint loss. Width is 3 1/2" and the length is 4".

This set of 10 porcelain dishes with sauce boat was produced in England by Doulton Burslem in the 1880s. The plates have a diameter of 9 inches and the sauce boat is 4 inches high. The underplate on the sauce boat is attached. Each piece is professionally hand painted with fish. The fish are painted with fine detail and outlined with raised gilding. A wonderful and amusing hooked rug depicting an aardvark. I have collected many rugs featuring animals but have never seen another with an aardvark. Well, at least I think this is someone's interpretation of an aardvark, or possibly a beaver, armadillo or pangolin. Whatever the craftsman was aiming for, one has to smile at this, and at the pinkish salmon background color surrounded by a scalloped teal border. Cotton yarn and with original burlap foundation.
