This extraordinarily rare Olmec necklace has 57 beads all made from Imperial green true jadeite. All are highly translucent except 4 small beads. It measures 30" when strung open from end to end. It has been restrung in modern times. I have never seen nor heard of pre-Columbian imperial jadeite of this quality. There is only one other imperial jadeite necklace that is in the Museo Nacional de Antropologia museum. Please e-mail me for a photo of that necklace...
Clearly made by an adoring grandmother, this antique Dong Minority hat is covered with a variety of ornate embroidery stitches including both wrapped thread and couching techniques. The hat is topped with silver half beads representing bubbles and a large top knot.. It is a bid dirty which would be expected in a childs hat of this age and use.
A wonderful Chinese wood elephant head architectural element. All sides are lacquered except for the back and top which are unfinished. This could be hung on the wall and used as a wall shelf to hold a small treasure. It is made of a heavy wood weighing 2 lbs and measuring 6" high, 4" widest, and 6" front to back. Date: mid 1800s.
This unique Olmec maskette is made from Guatemalan Imperial Green Jadeite and Imperial Blue Jadeite. It is an Omphacite/chloromelanite jade which "GemSelect" describes as the rarest and most valuable type of jade. Leoncio A. Garza-Valdes in the book "Precolumbian Jade" states "Omphacites are known as mesoamerican imperial jades". It probably contains inclusions of precious metals of silver, gold, and platinum. This beautiful Olmec bead is made from true jadeite and is 3" long. The jade is opaque. It has the classic Olmec face incised into the side. The hole does not go all the way through, but is drilled at both ends with two holes for suspension. A very rare find.

Japanese pair of mirror image cloisonne vases with amazing details of phoenixes, dragons, birds, and other mythical animals in jeweled lappets and ruyi-heads and flower bands. Green cloisonne contains gilt-like effects. Mottled purple ground, Base has flower mark, gilt bronze end bands. Wonderful condition.

Just simply stunning, this beautiful Chinese Asian celadon vase dates to the 14th century, it is in perfect shape save a small piece of broken shard that attached itself when some other vessel exploded in the kiln.
