Pair of Japanese Kutani tall porcelain bottle vases, with elongated bodies slightly tapering to the short neck and gilt rim, decorated with red enamel landscape scene and gilt clouds over white crackle ground. Each vase signed with 2 character mark.

Chinese Jadeite Jade Clip, Ca. late 1800's, apple green and pale lavender color Jadeite hardstone with gilded Filigree Silver mount, impressed mark "Silver" "China" on the back. 2" x 1 1/4" wide, 1" high overall size, Crescent shape Jadeite stone is 1 1/2" x 1" wide, 3/8" thick, one side shows apple green natural colors, the other side is translucent pale lavender color on white translucent natural Jadeite. The condition is good and easily can wear as a Pin.

Japanese satsuma Earthenware Vase, signed "Kinzan" on the bottom in gold in the black background, Ca. Meiji period, 1880's, 6 1/4" high, 3 1/8" wide-widest part, with brilliant gold accent on finely overglaze hand painted figures under the Pink Flowering trees around the entire vase. Gold diaper design in black on the neck and repeated wide leaf pattern border in overglaze enamel on the bottom, signed "Kinzan" in gold on the bottom. The condition is good.

Used by the bride for wedding this elaborate kingfisher feather crown is a very old and rare piece. The oldest kingfisher ornaments were made by glueing the feathers onto heavy paper. Metal wire was only used to attach pieces together. Both paper and the feathers are fragile, so not many of these old pieces have survived. This one is in average to good condition, some paper loss and some feather loss...

A pair of antique Chinese late 19th century Qing Dynasty pair of finely hand carved and silver inlaid rosewood sculptures, each carved with a young woman and the infant seated on the back of a water buffalo, inlaid with ornately twisted silver wire, on its integral elaborately carved base.

The Buddha is protected by a relief gold enameled dragon encircling the vase in its upper part. Excellent quality detailed painting - see fine depiction of their faces and supremely fine rich clothes with numerous patterns...

Two Chinese Qing dynasty hardwood carved panels with tabs at the top and bottom indicating they likely were originally inset into a larger piece of furniture. Each panel features a bat above a central double-happiness symbol flanked on both sides by ruyi forms. Gourds hang from vines. The slightly smaller panel includes a deer at the center bottom. The backs are flat. The smaller panel is mounted for hanging...

1900's Chinese Silver Enamel Jade carved Ring with Amber & Jadeite Carved Beads Necklace

It is 43.3 inches (110 cm) in circumference by 20 inches (51.5 cm) long. The jade range from 18.5 mm to 42.5 mm wide The amber beads range from 9.6 mm to 14.75 mm. It is 121.5 gram.

African ibeji carved wooden figure, Yoruba people, Nigeria. With striated upswept coiffure and tatoo on the belly. Male figure with superb rich patina.


The Yoruba figures on the market are oftentimes not old. This is a very old figure, likely from the early 20th. century.

Chinese Qing dynasty to Republic period rectangular form hinged camphor wood storage box with dove tail joints, narrow removable inner shelf, round brass lock plate at the center front, and brass side carrying handles. Late 19th to early 20th century. 17 1/4" long x 9 3/8” wide x 8 3/4" high. Very good overall condition with only a few fine cracks from age. From the Phoenix, Arizona estate of a former expatriate to China from 1983-1987.

They are 4.3 inches (11 cm) tall by 3.9 inches (10 cm) wide. They are 353 gram.

The lady figure has been repaired at her hat and has a small chip at her sleeves. The male figure has hairline cracks at his chest. Both have rubbing of gold and paint, missing accessories held by hands, glaze crazing, firing cracks, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos)...
