A Chinese signed calligraphy poem on paper from the Republic period. This scroll is from the collection of the Hollywood actor James Coburn. The poem was written during the New Year of 1917. It expresses the budding of spring, possibly in relation to Sun Yat Sen, alluding to the beginning of the Republic of China. There are two red seals on the scroll. The image measures: 23.5" wide by 50" long.
