Antique Japanese light weight Jingasa (Samurai hat) made with a basketweave bamboo and paper coated in black and red lacquer. The front of the hat has the gilt paulownia leaf mon (family crest) with the top decorated with a three prong yari forming a trident.

A Chinese signed calligraphy poem on paper from the Republic period. This scroll is from the collection of the Hollywood actor James Coburn. The poem was written during the New Year of 1917. It expresses the budding of spring, possibly in relation to Sun Yat Sen, alluding to the beginning of the Republic of China. There are two red seals on the scroll.

The mask is mostly used in the play The Cursed Metal Head-Ring for the role of the wife who is crazed with jealosy beyond any possibility of redemption.
