Charming Cizhou style ceramic pillow as a cat, circa late Qing to Republic period in perfect condtion! Great expression- captures the way a cat can gaze so intently at something while appearing calm- as if it is about to pounce on an unsuspecting prey. An wonderful and elaborate pottery figure of a female house attendant, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), dating to c. 1550-1600 AD.
A beautiful, elderly lady, clad in a blue dress with tourquoise sleaves. She is carrying a dish with food in front of her chest. She is placed on a square plint with tourqoise glaze on the top.

A high quality, larger pottery figure of a male haouse attendant, dating to Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.).
The attendant is wearing a robe in green and yellow Sancai colors, and he caerries a teapot in front of his chest. He wears a hat shaped like the roof of a house - a beculiar feature. .
Nicely painted facial details with and a realistic expression.

A really attractive and funny bronze or brass erotic 'toy' figur with a dark, age patina, India, 19th. century.
The figure is mechanical and the male has a hinge. He thrusts into the woman when you press the little lever on the base.

Very Rare Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Buddhist Lotus Jar with Sanskrit Inscription
This very rare, possibly unique, pottery jar was made between the 10th and 13th centuries, during the Five Dynasties period (AD 906 - 960), Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province.
It is one of the most unusual Yunnan jars that we have seen. The design represents either lotus leaves or a lotus blossom...
Rare Chinese Yuan Dynasty Small Pottery Bucket
This unusual object, a pottery model of a bucket, was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Black, or dark grey, pottery objects dating to the Yuan Dynasty are not widely known. They are found in the northern provinces, particularly Gansu province in the north-west.

A finely carved late- to Neo-Assyrian black stone cylinder seal, depicting running animal in a superb style and very high relief, above is star and crescent, mid-to late Assyrian.
Size: 25 mm. tall and 12 mm. wide.
Condition: Near extremely fine and glossy, the cracks in the imprint depicted, are not in the seal!
Provenance: The Karl Müller collection, Germany 1950-1977. Comes with COA and his hard imprint.
A very attractive and rare bluish glazed stone seal, Middle Assyrian, later 2nd. millenium BC.
The seal is carved with a detailed depiction of the King hunting a winged Griffin from behind with a bow, another hunter shooting from the front, Bird flying above and between them.
Size: 36 mm. tall and 13 mm. wide.
Condition: Good very fine, minor chipping to the glaze at the edge but intact!

Buddha is depicted as a crowned king seated on his double Lotus Throne held by a dragon below and with a great flaming halo behind, carved with dragons.

Very precise and decorative carving and painting of a deity seated on a tiger-cat, inside a high throne with dragon, all in black, red, gold and laquer, Qing dynasty, late 19th.-early 20th. century.
