Description: A beautiful pair of agate beads were excavated from Liao tomb. With still glittery condition, incursions was obvious on the surface with milky white tone. Date: Liao Dynasty(AD907-1125) Width: 1.6cm

This antique beaded headband is from Guang Dong province in China, and is typical of headgear worn by Chinese woman around the turn of the 19th-20th century. It would have been worn the narrow portion across the forehead, with the rounded flap portions covering the ears and fastened in the back of the head.

A fine and rare late Pre-Dynastic / Late Jemdet Nasr period, Mesopotamian Cylinder seal of translucent Alabaster, early 3rd. millenium BC.

The seal carved highly concave with a fine rendering of centipedes.

A late Song - Early Yuan Qingbai bowl, covered with nice bluish tone glaze, silky with fine glaze, rim and foot ring unglazed. Very thin and light potted and nice bell like tone when tapped. Very good condition with firing crack and fint glaze hairline on the back. Size: 11 cm diameter and 3 cm height

Two porcelain plates, both superbly painted in the Satsuma style with brocaded borders and landscape scenes of women and children in luxurious clothing, celebrating iris and chrysanthemum respectively. Kutani, late Meiji, c 1900. Signed Kutani Eiraku (?) So. Diameter "7¼ / 18,3 cm. Condition: fine.

Antique, early 19th century Chinese Qing Dynasty Canton enameled copper Famille rose box and cover. The top and two sides are finely hand-painted with colorful enamel against a white ground, depicting ladies and attendants at leisure on the garden terrace in rectangular panels. All surrounded by roses with leafy branches on a cobalt blue ground. The other two sides have the "Shou" emblem painted in brown enamel with gold borders.

CONDITION: It shows age and use. It has an old patina...

Interesting Arita Imari bowl, late Edo with scalloped rim and panels with reserves of flowers and figural scenes of an elderly teacher (?) surrounded by pupils, the reserves contoured in raised overglaze black. Brocade or diaper patterns in green, red, blue and gilt surrounding a stylized turtle in underglaze blue. The exterior shows three Buddhist symbols repeated three times in underglaze blue, red enamels and gilt. Bull’s eye base and a green-glazed Uzu-Fuku mark...

18th century Indian bronze votive sculpture of Ganesha sitting on a rectangular throne, with his vahana (vehicle) - a bandicoot rat - in his lap, and holding his usual attributes in his 4 hands. There is a protective naga (cobra) above his head. Ganesha is the remover of obstacles, and thus is invoked before any new undertaking such as marriage or new business. He bestows good luck on his worshippers, and is prayed to in some forms of Tantric worship...

Antique second half of the 19th century Native American Crooked Knife.

The trade steel blade of typical curve shape is stamped by the maker “Frederick Reynolds Sheffield” is sleeved within the antler handle secured to the tang of the blade by two iron rivets.

Frederick Reynolds (1814-1877) was born at Derby, but had moved to Sheffield by 1841, when he was enumerated in the Census as a razor maker working at Sims Croft...

Nirayama-kasa which was worn by samurai when they practiced artillery. It is made of washi (Japanese handmade paper) yarn and black urushi painted outside and kakishibu inside. It has hand-painted wave and bamboo design with gold but faded much. Nirayama-kasa was made in Ansei (1854~1860), very late Edo period. It was used in Kanto area, not in Kansai area, according to the "Kinsei Fuzokushi" written by Morisada Manko around mid 19th century. Generally in good condition but has some wear...

Late 18th to early 19c century votive Indian bronze sculpture of Balakrishna (dancing Krishna) with the right leg raised stepping on a lotus flower, holding a butter ball in his right hand, his left arm outstretched. Unusually fat, pleasantly heavy, great classic piece with excellent casting and detailing (see his exquisite jewelry and hair decorations), wonderful dynamic posture, traces of kumkum powder used to adorn the image during worship, superbly beautiful patina overall...

Beautiful pre Viet Nam War woman’s sarong from the Stieng/Xtiêng ethnic group Vietnam. Semi antique/vintage over 50 years old, all hand spun and woven. The center red and black panel is quite striking. Some minor old repairs on the selvedge and the stitches holding the panels together have unraveled in a couple of places, but otherwise no tears, holes or stains. L 135cm/53in and W: 66cm/26in.

Porcelain decorated with rock among floral sprays on the center, continous floral scroll on the exterior, glazed base. PERIOD : Early Ming (1400-1487 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 24 cm wide. CONDITION: one hairline, one star hairline, two small chips to the rim; free from restoration.

A fine quality smaller bronze figure of Vishnu, South Indian, perhaps Tamil Nadu, c. 18th. century or even earlier.

Size: c. 10,5 mm. tall.

Condition: Good Very fine, lovely old patina, with a fine red-brown colour.
