Antique Japanese bronze vase with a wood-like pattern, large areas of deep red pigment, and a stout mouth with inner ridges. Taisho period (1912-1925) Size: 11.5" height, 9" width

The mask is of dark brown russet lacquer finish and the interior is smoothed lacquered red. The high jaw his two protrusion hooks for strapping the cords, underneath the chin is a vent hole. The mask is fitted with yodare kare of three row of false scale lace and blue silk.

A splendid and unusually large tetsubin decorated with geometric patterns with peonies and butterflies set within a frame. This piece is a collaboration of two major artists. The body has a seal by the kama-shi or tea kettle maker, Okuni Jurou, and the lid is signed by Kinryudo. Okuni Jurou, along with his father Okuni Toubei were famous for their skill and artistry during the Meiji and Taisho Periods. Condition is original and excellent. Size: Diameter 9.5" Height 14"

The dishes are small, absolutely lovely and quite unique with their simple decoration of a flying crane and the other dish with a butterfly decoration. This pair of dishes fascinates by its simplicity. Ming Dynasty, Wanli period ( 1573 - 1620 ) Porcelain dishes with a Cobalt blue decoration, most probably Jingdezhen ware. Diameter : 8,7 cm. Condition : Perfect with a nice glaze and a nice "ping-tone" when tapped. No cracks, no chips - this what looks like small rim chips is covered with glaze.

Incredibly charming Japanese bronze incenser in the form of a floppy eared dog, with a curly tail and and a real bell handing off of his neck. A pierced lid comes off of his back to place incense inside, which would then pillow forth from the mouth. Original natural patina from antiquity. Set of two (2) Chinese porcelain tea cups decorated with blue linear designs and flowers in shades of red, blue, and greenish yellow with long stems and pretty green leaves. The inside bottom of each cup has an orange flower between two yellow flowers within a blue ring. Mark on bottom reads "Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi" or "Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, Made". Size: 1.5" height, 3" width

This realistically cast Meiji period bronze vase is 13 1/4 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter at its widest point. It depicts an eagle resting on an old tree. There is a stamped maker¡¯s mark on the bottom which reads ¡°Hidemitsu¡±. The owner purchased this piece from Sotheby¡¯s in the early seventy¡¯s. It is in excellent condition.

Heavy, pure silver box with gold, silver, and copper inlaid bronze plaque inset in lid. The bronze plaque depicts a scene of dragonflies amidst autumn grasses. The grass is both incised and raised. The seeds are all inlaid gold. The dragonflies are raised above the surface with silver wings and copper bodies and the smallest dragonfly is inlaid with silver and copper. A rare mid 17th Century conical form bowl decorated to the exterior with playful buddhistic lions and peony sprays. The rim is washed brown and the base carries the six character retrospective Ming mark of the Jiajing emperor. This item was made circa 1644 to 1680 during the Shunzhi or early Kangxi reign.
