Antique Chinese small, carved boxwood container in the form of a lotus pod. A millet-like seeding plant entwines the lotus pod, it's elegant stalks acting as handles on the side and lid of the container.

Antique chinese bronze figure of a child from the Ching dynasty, 18-19th century. The child is resting atop a cloak, barefoot. He wears a hat on his back of a traditional woven style. His hair is tied in the traditional knots, heavy. It measures 4" tall by 3" wide.

An antique statue of the lucky god Zhang Guolao holding a fish drum, a Chinese percussion instrument. Carved from a large bamboo piece with nice patina. One of the eight immortals of the Chinese Taoist pantheon. Condition: sticks of the instrument lost, some short cracks and chips. Dimension: c. 34.6 cm high. Description: An oval shaped brush washer made of stone was originated from Tang or Liao Dynasty.
In chrysanthemum decoration around the rim, the basin was kept with original whitish patina and some incursions within the tissues of the stone.
Some defects can be found.

Description:

A bronze boy was well cast in solid way.
In lying posture, the boy was half-naked revealing his hips and penis.
It was believed from the unknown custom of the Sa-Man people of north-eastern China.
Nice and warm patina was kept when sandy-feel surface was left due to long time of age.
Adhesives were preserved in the crevices.
It can be a nice brush-rest by the lying shape.

Date: 10th-12th centuries, Liao/Jing periods.

As in a hidden look, the erotic motifs were only revealed when turning over the bronze plates.
They were well cast in solid form and were preserved in a latter-lade linen wood box.

Five dynasty yue yao bowl with foliated rim, bowl decorated with vertical ribbing at the wall and foliated rim. Bowl is in good condition, with minor degradation on the surface and very small chip at the rim.no hair line and free from restorations.20 cm diameter.

Japanese large Imari Porcelain Punch Bowl, 4 1/2" high, 12" diameter-top, early 1920, with typical Imari colors of red, green and orange overglaze enamel on top of the underglaze blue, and highlighted in gold. Very delightful Japanese garden scene just outside the door or window in divided cartouches. There are some scratch marks on the bottom inside the bowl, no cracks, no restoration, no damage.

Very detailed repousse made of copper depicting the Hindu deity Krishna, seen holding a spear in one hand and some sort of vine in the other. He has worshippers on either side of him, adorned in lavish jewelry, headdresses, and scarves. Behind Krishna is the winged holy being Garuda, who serves as the mount to Lord Vishnu. 19th century. This is an extraordinarily rare unique turtle shell maskette. It is 2 5/8" X 2 1/2". It was found in Southern Illinois. It dates to the Mississippian Period, 1000AD. It has a hairline reminiscent of the Southeastern Shell Masks. I know of only one other example which is pictured in Lar Hothem's 'Antler, Bone & Shell Artifacts', page 309. It has beautiful patina and is a no-brainer for authenticity. It is solid and not fragile. Could be used for modern wear...
