Chinese export porcelain stem plate, made for the Thai market. With polychrome decoration of Thepanom between two Norasingh, among foliage on a black ground, details of the deities in gold. Condition: good, rim with few color flakes, wear to the gilt (rim). Dimension: diameter: c. 13 cm, height: 6.9 cm.

Green lead glazed oil lamp or candle stand from the Han Dynasty. In excellent condition with no damage, there are still traces of the classic silver patina as may be seen in enlargements. H: 13.5cm/5.3in and D: 10.5cm/4.2in.

Rare soy brown glazed stoneware vessel made in the shape of a grain silo. This basic style are well documented in Qingbai wares but this is the first I have seen in a brown glaze, also it has a fence going around the base which is quite unusual. It is in excellent condition with no repairs, cracks or fritting of the glaze and it is unusually large. H: 24cm/9.5in and D: 18cm/7in. It reminds me a lot of a Jizhou glaze but this seems heavier and more stable.

An unusually small creamer, Chinese export porcelain from the Qianlong period, c 1770. Decoration in the European taste of scattered flowers, a thin lattice border and garlands. Height "3 1/3/ 8.5 cm. Condition: a professional restoration is visible near the beak where the decoration is restored with exactly the same enamels as the original (cf. pics).

A vintage necklace in fine twisted silver wire of ancient clay mummy beads and a large faience amulet of Bes, Late period to Roman period, c. 600-100 BC.

A lovely and extremely rare, large version of a Wheel-lock pistol in Noble quality, Germany, Augsburg, c. 1570-1580.

With swamped two-stage barrel, struck on the top flat of the octagonal breech with the Augsburg mark (Neue Støckel 1294), and the cock of the fine metal lock is engraved with marine monsters.

Magnificent pottery Ding. The long legs and “cockscomb” design where, the legs join the body, are in keeping with bronze vessels from the Zhou to Warring States period, which pottery pieces were trying to emulate. Chinese Song Dynasty Qingbai Glazed Porcelain Dish (with decoration)

This saucer-dish was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279). Its inner surface and outer wall are coated in a very finely-crackled pale qingbai glaze that has just a hint of green. The inner surface is decorated with what appears to be an impressed floral decoration although the impression is quite faint. The rim remains purposely unglazed as does the flat concave base. A beautiful blue and white Transitional period bowl (about 1640), with an apocryphal Chenghua mark to the base. The cobalt blue color is very deep and attractive, painted with fishermen in a river scene. It is 22cm in diameter. Condition is good; there is a tight hairline to the rim. A Korean, buncheong, white glazed bowl; C15-16th, Joseon dynasty. The bowl is covered with white slip to it's interior; the slip terminates short of the foot. The whole was then covered in a clear glaze, which shows a green-blue colour where it has pooled. Five stacking support marks may be seen to the interior of the bowl. An antique Japanese Ikebana bamboo basket in a tall slender design. With a matched Wisteria handle that sweeps high over the top of the basket and dramatically extends to the waist.
