Large rare Bronze statue of Quanyin (the Goddess of Mercy). She wears an ornate necklace and has a ball-like "Nyoi Jewel" in her right hand representing enlightenment . There is an image of Buddha beneath the veil on her head. In her left hand she is holding her ambrosia bottle (kalasa)representing "The Water of Compassion. 19th century Chinese export napkin ring carved on the outside with a continuous scene of Chinese scholars in different settings. Wonderful work with deep undercutting, beautiful patina, in excellent condition. Carved with a numeral 1 in raised oval reserve. Inside diameter 1 1/2 inches, height 5/8 inches.

Chinese Tang dynasty changsha ewer. 10 cm high. Ewer has chipped at the rim and glaze degradations because found from the river. Free from any repair.
The small jade carving is 2” long, 1 ¼” wide and 1” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It depicts a smiling fisherman. On one hand, he is holding his long beard; in the other he is holding a string of Ling Zhi (lucky mushrooms). A turtle and a fish appear on the fisherman’s back carved from dark brown part of the stone. It is in excellent condition.
