A heavy 18th Century double walled cup - the outer wall carved with reticulated decoration and painted with small famille rose flowers. This item was made in China during the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795). Condition there is a hairline to the inner wall which does not continue to the outside (please see enlargements 6 and 7) and there is very extensive wear to the gilding; there are no chips and there has been no restoration. 7cm (2.8inches) high; 7.7cm (3inches)diameter...

A very rare sample of Yuan dynasty over glaze enamel bowl, rounded side with out turned rim and unglazed base, bowl decorated with red and green over glaze enamel, flower motif at the exterior, inner rim with classic scroll and center with flower spray motif, bowl excavated from Trowulan east java.
Bowl has been broken into several pieces and re-attach as seen at picture, a very rare sample of early over glaze enamel motif.

All in a good blue. Qianlong, C1750/70. Max dia.8 5/8" (21.9cm). Condition; two areas of minor friting to inside corners.

Fine Blanc De Chine figure of Guanyin wearing long flowing robes. Seated on a rockwork throne, with an open book in one hand and holding a boy on her lap with the other, between a vase with applied prunus and a bird, above two well modelled acolytes, the Jade Maiden, Longnu and the Golden Youth, Shoukai. Kangxi C1690/1700. Ht.8.0" (20.2cm). Condition: excellent, a 0.6cm glaze crack in the firing fault on her back.

Another dream piece, Ming Dynasty, Hongzhi period ( 1488- 1505 ). Excavated in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Wonderful Cobalt blue, superb execution of the Peacock design, just enjoy the images. Diameter : 31,8 cm. Condition : One old genuine fiering crack from the time of production of the piece and one lost to the footrim of the piece also from the time of production. This superb late 19th century ivory carving of Guan-Yin (Goddess of Mercy) is 11” high (with wood base it is 12 ¾” high), 2 ½” wide and 2” thick. A small enamelled copper box, the cover depicting a grasshopper or cricket amongst grasses and flowers. The base carries a "CHINA" stamp which dates it to post 1890. This item was probably made circa 1900, during the latter years of the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). A extremely rare Jingdezhen ware Ming Hongzhi Period ( 1488 - 1505 ) porcelain dish, glazed with a pale bluish - white glaze over a incised Chrysanthemum decoration. Normally the same type of decoration we know from large Ming blue and white dishes - the same decor incised is very rare to find. Diameter : 25 cm. Condition : There is just one very fine and short hairline near the base( shown on the last image ) otherwise the dish is in an excellent condition.

Wonderful porcelain jar, decorated in blue and white. Typical wanli pattern of swastikas on the shoulder, the rest of the jar decorated with gardens and two flying cranes, China, Wanli (1573-1620). Condition: two hairline cracks on the mouth rim, one of them with an almost invisible related crack on the shoulder. Dimensions: H. 17,5 cm, Diameter 17 cm.

A Ming Blue White Bowl. Diameter approximately 27.5 cm. Decorated with 3(three) phoenixes, lotus scrolls, animals, crosslines and scenery. The bowl has few hairlines, small chips and some parts glued.

A well potted deep saucer dish, with very fine overglaze gold and iron red decoration. This item was made circa 1700-1730, probably for export, during the reign of either the Kangxi or Yongzheng emperor. Condition - excellent - there is very slight surface wear but no damages and no restoration...

A very interesting set of 5 porcelain bowls with monochrome glaze, marked with maker's mark. China, late Qing or early Republic. H. 6,5 cm, Diameter 11 cm. Condition: small piece of glaze is missing on the inside bottom of the green bowl, the same bowl has a minor glaze imperfection on the outside. The rest of the set is in mint condition.

Description:

A Changsha ewer was applied on the surface with low-relief grapevine motifs and highlighted with brown glaze.
It was a precious piece by preserving the intact condition.

It was from an old collection and was published in the collection book: Chinese Ceramics From Jin to Yuan Dynasties, 300-1400.

It was also in the April edition, 2011 of a famous Chinese magazine, Art and Collection...

From our Chinese Polychrome Collection, a fine Rose-Verte porcelain dish, Yongzheng Period (1723-1735), well-painted in the center depicting an elegant lady, a young boy, and a deer carrying peaches on its back signifying longevity. Bordered on the cavetto with floral sprays, and dressed on the rim with iron oxide.

Rose-Verte is a less commonly encountered version of the Famille Rose and Famille Verte palettes...

This jarlet is small but it´s colour is amazing. Among hundreds of such jarlets there might be one piece that shows a bluegreen like this. Song - Yuan Longquan Celadon ware. H : 4,6 cm. Condition : Perfect. The " chips " to the rim are all covered with the original glaze - thus the piece is in it´s original condition.
