A well potted Kraak ( Ming Wanli ) style jar with an underglaze Cobalt blue Dragon and Phoenix decoration. The rim glazed in brown colour. Probably from the Qing Dynasty, it even could be that this very decorative jar was made during the late Qing Dynasty. H : 23,8 cm. Condition : Perfect. ( One chip to the inside of the unglazed footring which is not to see from the outside. )

Beautiful Chinese antique display shelf made of Solid Jichi-mu wood (very heavy). The chest has three large display shelves, and two small drawers just under the top display area. The drawers are carved with scrolling mist and chimera and outfitted with brass pulls. Very nicely detailed. Each display area is enclosed on three sides with a low carved lattice work. Late 19th - early 20th Century Size: 69 1/2" high x 35" wide x 16 1/2" deep.

Early 20th century Chinese export tortoise shell cigarette case. The lid is carved with a coiled dragon; two seed pearls as eyes. Good condition. H: 3 ½ inches, W: 2 ¾ inches

Chinese Green Porcelain Pen or Brush Holder. The green glaze has an "oil on water" effect and gives an excellent impression. The shape of a table makes it rare and interesting. Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty (1644-1911 A.D.) blue and white Porcelain vase of cylindrical form slightly tapering to the trumpet lip. Finely hand painted underglaze in a vibrant tone of cobalt blue, with two dragons, pursuing flaming pearl amidst flames and the clouds.

This jade skull is yellowish green and is from the Hongshan Neolithic Culture. It was dated to 6700BP-4900BP. It is 1 7/8" long and 1 5/8" wide. It has marvelous patina and the color is mesmerizing. It is 100% translucent. The jade is extremely fine grained and top quality. This could have been the top of a shaman's staff. BEWARE, this is one of the most reproduced fakes out there, especially on eBay. This one is the real deal. I no longer use "in my opinion" COAs...

A removable Chinese travel hat stand. Cut in the shape of two interlocking Lingzhi. Carved in a beautiful hardwood with a very fine grain. Good cabinetwork finish. Simple object but very elegant and rare. Beautiful antique patina of the wood. Difficult to date exactly in the Qing period. Height : about 23cm The two mushrooms broken in half and badly glued together (see photo). I can, on request, glue them back together correctly for free.

An ancient Chinese Neolithic Terracotta vase from the Qijia culture, dating to approximately 2400 B.C.

This attractive earthenware vase dates to China's Qijia Culture. It is of typical form, with large body, waisted neck, and flaring mouth. The piece is decorated throughout with long vertical, combed groves.

Condition: Stable hairline cracks to body. Overall very good condition. Unrestored.

Late 18th to early 19th century small Chinese ivory carving of a standing boy holding a branch with peaches on his shoulders. Nicely done, very pleasant patina, in great condition, fixed on well carved hardwood stand. Height of the figure 1 1/2 inches, height with stand 1 13/16 inches.

Antique pair of deep brown lacquer bowls. Carved all over with detailed scenes of scholars in gardens and pavilions in the mountains. Dramatic rock formations and various trees. The inside and bottom of each bowl is lacquered black. The rim and foot are ringed in bronze.

A nicely carved 19th c white jade belt buckle, of reticulated qilong dragon form. The tone of the jade is of a translucent grayish white.

This early 20th century Chinese carved wood statue is 5" tall, 6 1/8" wide and 3 1/4" in depth. The statue presents the legendary Chinese character Liu Hai. This character is an eternally young boy who is always accompanied by a three legged toad. The statue presents a smiling Liu Hai seated comfortably on a rock with a whisk and straw hat on his back and the three legged toad resting on his right foot. Aside from a minor repair on his left toe, it is in great condition.
