19th Century Chinese White Jade Carved Plaque with Shell and Silver Enamel Box

It is 1.2 inches (3.8 cm) tall by 3 inches (13 cm) wide. It is 219.9 gram.

It has surface wears and scratches and enamel band at the bottom of the box is loose and the melted mercury at the inside of the lid (as seen in the photos).

A well carved bamboo brush pot with beautiful patina. The main side showing figures in a garden setting, the backside with two animal cartouches and a poem in Chinese characters, as well delicately engraved in French and romanized Chinese. Condition: the base reinforced with leather, some tears and cracks and tiny losses, rim with flee bites. Dimension: height: c. 15.5, diameter: 11.1 cm.

Chinese porcelain apple green crackle vase; fine black wire netting crackle throughout paling to yellow crackle inside, straw coloured rim; minor abrasions; good condition

Rare and large bronze mirror, decorated with two fish between waves. China, Song Dynasty (960-1279). Diameter 15,5 cm. Good condition and wonderful patina.

A well carved Chinese nephrite jade with the natural skin. Hand carved stone of a camel (luotuo) and Calf. Fine detailwork on the tail and sections of the face has been executed on the jade.

This late 19th century Chinese carved ivory Guan Yin (goddess of mercy) is 11 ½ inches tall, 2 ½ inches wide and 2 ¼ inches thick. She is standing on a double lotus base. One hand is holding prayer beads, the other is holding a lotus. The workmanship and the quality of the ivory are superb. Besides a few small hairline cracks, it is in excellent condition.

Large monochrome blue mazarin porcelain bowl. 18th century Chinese work. The white hard porcelain is coated with a beautiful deep cobalt blue glaze. It is presented on its wooden base, also Chinese, which is either original or made during the 19th century. The base is left unglazed. No mark. A chip on the edge followed by a crack. There are a total of eight signs, each with a different "saying" having to do with well wishes. Due to the age of the calligraphy, and the vagueres of the old Chinese language, accurate translations have not been possible for each sign. Each sign is carved out of wood with raised wooden characters and inlayed with MOP flakes. Each is 21 inches tall and roughly 4.5 inches wide. Antique Chinese carved amethyst snuff bottle. Carved with a garden pavilion and blossoming trees on one side. The scene continues on the other side with a scholar and young attendant in the garden. Lid is made of agate and has a copper spoon.

The Buddha is seated on a lotus base in abhaya mudra position which means protection, peace and the dispelling of fear.

This statue has a Qianglong Seven-Charakter Mark, DA QING QIANLONG NIAN JING ZAO, (1736-1795).

Fine Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Foreigner with Oxford TL Test

A well patinated 16th/17th Century bronze Gu form vase cast in archaic Shang dynasty style. This is from the collection of the late Reverend Victor Farmer. Condition - the interior base has been replaced or re-glued and there are the usual 'production' repairs - made at the time of manufacture. A rare Song dynasty Hutian Qingbai bowl, rounded side with wide open rim and unglazed base, bowl decorated with carved flower motif at interior, flower shape rim, bowl is products of Hutian in Jiangxi.
Bowl is in good condition with minor damage at the rim restored and faint hairline at the rim.
