A beautiful 19th C. Chinese turquiose vase with dragon flying on both sides. Marked with CHINA (spelling was interesting). On the bottom has a little chip (Pls. see the photo)otherwise in excellent condition. H:8-1/2"

Chinese gilt lacquer wall carving, hand carved with whimsical scenes of court people. A gentleman is seen riding on the back of a Qilin while his advisor follows. One lady peeks her head from the window beside another lady arranging flowers. A small child is also shown arranging flowers. Possible a fragment from a bed. Dates from 18th/19th century.

This most beautiful Vase is just 18 cm. high. The perfect body shows an enamel decoration executed in a very seldom seen really superb quality. It is a pleasure to regard the quality of this piece with an magnifying glass...

 

1700s / 1800s

This slender, attenuated brush pot (or possibly tool vase) of medium brown tone, displays a visible wood grain pattern on the exterior. The mouthrim and interior appear to retain the original surface. The base is worn fairly smooth from use. The exterior was probably refinished at a later time. The overall condition is very good with no repairs.

Yuan dynasty Qingbai glaze Flat bowl decorated with molded four fish and flowers at the center.Bowl in good condition with just one hair line at the center (see at picture six) and unglazed kiln foul at the middle edge.Size:16,5cm diameter.

A rare ovoid vase on high flaring foot painted in shades of underglaze blue and made in China for export to Europe during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). Condition: there is "fritting" (production glaze loss) to the base (please view enlargements) and there are very minor glaze imperfections; there are no cracks and there has been no restoration. 14.5cm (5.7inches) high.

17/18世纪 清康熙 外销青花瓷瓶

This mid or late 19th century Chinese carved root sculpture is 25 inches tall (with base), 11 inches wide and 3 ½ inches deep. One side carved as a maple tree and rock, the other side retains the natural form of the roots. The fitted hard wood base depicts a pine tree surrounded with rocks. There have been a few minor repairs. It is in excellent condition.

This carved hardwood cup is 5” high, 4 ½” wide, 3 3/4” thick (both measured from the top). It is an early 20th century product. It depicts three sages surrounded by a river scene. Two sages and their young servant are on a boat; one sage is standing on the river bank. A huge rock, an old pine tree and some unknown trees make the scene very peaceful. Aside from a few small crack lines due to the age of the wood, it is in great condition.

The body exquisitely potted of flattened double-gourd form with a slender upper bulb resting on a compressed lower body, set with two delicate loop handles. The pale bluish-olive-green glaze thinning to the edges of the piece so that the brown paste of the body is shining trough the glaze. A rare pair of qianjiang dishes painted and signed by Zhang Ziying (also known as Zhang Yun) who was associated with the imperial kiln during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875 - 1908). Both carry poems which translate "fortune and luck for life). Condition - three 5cm hairlines to rim of first dish (see enlargement 6 for two); base crack ( see enlargement 9) and two light 3cm hairlines to second dish.
