The top of the carving provides 2 areas for keeping very small objects - tiny ink cakes and such. The animal is carved in an exceptional glossy celadon stone with brown inclusions on the wings at the front side.

This nicely carved jade (jadeite) pendant is 2 ½” long, 1 ½” wide and ¼” thick. It is a late 19th or early 20th century product. It is carved on both sides as a twisted RuYi (如意) scepter with LingZhi (靈芝) ends surrounded by a small unknown plant. A small lucky bat is sitting on top of the carving. It is in great condition.

This jade tube is a celadon green with lighter inclusions that create mountain landscape-like patterns throughout. It has a soft even polish overall, including the interior and it is slightly translucent when held to the light. There are a few small nicks and minor abrasions to the rims, but it is in generally good condition. The interior is cut slightly off-center.
