Chinese Yuan - Ming dynasty celadon glaze vase or jar. 19 cm high. Jar has small chipped at the mouth rim on restoration. Similar jar found on museum describe as Yuan dynasty from Dongmen Kiln.

Description:
A black pottery inks-tone was a rare survivor of scholar items from ancient time.
With characteristic image of a toad, the ink-stone was assembled by a cover and a basin.
Vividly it was depicted on the surface with toad's skin when old adhesives were preserved within the pleats.
One old chip was found on the side of the cover.

A rare Yuan dynasty 14th century double gourd ewer with cover, rounded side with double gourd shape and unglazed base, this ewer decorated with under glaze iron spots with qingbai glaze.
Ewer is in good condition with spout broken off and re attach and covered with silver mounted, complete condition on handle and bodies still original.

The sun and its tendrils are silver foiled threads tacked down with red silk threads. The flowers are also silver but tacked down with green silk threads. The two Famille Jaune sweetmeat dishes decorated on the interior with branches of a blossoming plum tree. Main colors are the yellow and green enamels, details are in black thin lines.
