Meiji(1868-1912) Japanese Wood Lacquer 5 Layers Inro with Bamboo & Wood Boy Netsuke

It is 3.3 inches (8.5 cm) tall by 1.85 inches (4.7 cm) wide. The netsuke is 1.85 inches (4.7 cm) tall.

It is in good condition with no repairs except peeling of lacquer, a gold leaf is loose, chips, and hairline cracks at the netsuke (as seen in the photos).

The chest's four front drawers feature large, round Kiri wood mon (family crest) motif lock plates , while the Warabite style drawer pulls have small pierced plates below them in the style of a crane mon.
