19th century marine netsuke of mother and son. Nicely carved piece with wonderful smiling faces, black and red ink highlights. Texture on the walrus tusk core can be seen on the back of the carving. Old age line, very pleasant patina. Height 1 13/16 inches.

A Fukagawa porcelain 9 1/2 inch dinner plate. Iris decoration from Chuji Fukagawa's own 19th century design book. Blue underglaze and red, yellow and gold overglaze enamel decoration including random butterflys. Mt. Fuji mark inside the foot ring. Late Meiji or early Taisho. Good condition. It is beautiful silk dangawari(Dyeing) jyuban kimono textile of the Taisho era(1912-1926). It is the color that very impressive, and is beautiful. It has a few thin stains. However, it does not stand out. There is not damage, and it is very good condition. size:144cm x 127cm (56.6" x 49.9")

This is an authentic antique cloisonné enamel teapot from late 19th century Japan, made during the Meiji period. The teapot is of an inverted baluster shape and rests on a tall flared foot. Japanese cast Iron Tetsubin, Iron Tea pot, with Bronze Top, 5" high include top knob, 8 1/2" with handle upright position, 6 1/2" wide- widest part include spout, brown rust inside the pot, pebble sandy finish outside. The condition is good.

Japanese Meiji period woodblock print triptych by Utagawa Kokunimasa (1874-1944), aka Ryua, titled “The battle between Japan and Russia at Seoul” depicting troops landing on the Korean peninsula at the start of the Russo-Japanese War. The print was published by Fukuda Hatsujiro and is dated in the cartouche at the lower left 2/1904. Signed at the lower right "Ryua" and with the artist's red "Edokko" seal below. Each of the three panels measures 14 1/2" - 14 5/8" x 9 3/4" (paper size)...

A medium sized Imari bowl from the 19th Century. The bowl is of fine quality and has a rare, hand applied, overall brocade decoration. In the inside there is a garden scene and a golden hawk that are made to look like they are from a rolled out scroll. The bowl measures about 2 1/2" high x 8 1/2" in diameter, and it is in excellent condition. There is a little wear on the gold highlights. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.

19th century marine material ball shaped ojime (slide bead for tightening the cord going from netsuke to inro) carved in the round with a praying mantis crouching among leaves and plants including a chrysanthemum and several hozuki (Chinese lantern fruit), central hole with terminals surrounded by carved florets. Wonderful carving, excellent staining, beautiful wear and warm patina. Height 5/8 inches.

19th century smallish (probably made for a child) mask netsuke of Okame. Wonderful chubby face with a wide smile, black ink highlights, very nice wear and patina. Signed on the back - the signature appears to read ROSUI. Height 1.19 inches.

This beautiful elegant lotus is perched on curled stems that make up the lotus's stand. A small bud is tucked underneath, resting upward against the flower. This type of fukusa is a covering placed over a gift at the time of a gift-giving ceremony between families. A fukusa with the crest decoration is very practical because it can be used for the different occasions. Beautiful old tapestry weave (hand woven). The dimensions: 25 1/2" x 27"

Heavy, cream colored stoneware oil plate (aburazara) shaped as a lotus leaf with curled up, irregular edge. Surface on ‘inside’ structured with cloth, decorated with geometric figures in iron brown glaze and covered with feldspar and typical Oribe green glaze.

One side is decorated with maple and cherry blossom among flowing water (known in Japanese as unkin) and the other side is chrysanthemums and flowing water (known as kikusui).
