Jar with pouring spout serving as an important ewer for tea, wine or water. Decor of a dragon energetically painted in underglaze cobalt blue, its eagle claws widely deployed. 4 sturdy handles allow you to hang the ewer. This type of hanging container is made of bronze and was used on boats, hence its name "sampan teapot". The pouring spout was formerly restored. Statue of a taoist dignitary, in formal attire, standing on an elevated hexagonal base on which a relief representing a reclining animal is carved. Two votive boxes at the back, both with missing lid. China, Ming Dynasty period. The statue is mounted on a stand. height (without stand): 31,5 cm. A few missing parts at the lower side of the base and at the back of the head, with no real damage to the general aspect of the statue, otherwise very good condition.

A lidded Japanese Imari porcelain vase, finely painted with landscape cartouches and Ho-o birds among brocade pattern and peonies. With 19th century French bronze mountings, the pedestal composed of four nicely modelled elephant heads and heart shaped bordure, which is repeating on the rim ring. Condition: fine, only cover inside with a tiny rim chip (see picture no. 8). Dimension: total height: 31.8 cm.

This remarkable artifact is an ancient Greek Mycenaean-type bronze spearhead that dates back to the Bronze Age, circa 1500 B.C. The spearhead showcases a narrow, leaf-shaped blade that was expertly crafted to ensure its sharpness and durability. Moreover, the spearhead features an integral hollow socket designed to accommodate the spear's shaft. The shaft would have been secured to the spearhead using two opposed holes pierced into the socket's lower part for this purpose...

A Cambodian cast bronze statuette representing the Hindu god Vishnu standing with his 4 arms. The bronze has an excellent old patina which confirms the dating. Khmer art 12th century or before.
A wooden plinth was made around 1900 to stabilize the statue.
