A Crackle-Glazed Vase, Qing Dynasty. Height approximately 39 cm, the rim diameter approximately 18.2 cm and the base diameter approximately 15.6 cm. The vase has a chip at the rim (repaired) and another 2 (two) hairlines at the rim.
This thinly potted bowl stands out by its nice decoration, in particular by the delighful represented deer which is part of this decoration. Wonderful deep Cobalt blue.

Condition : Perfect. There is a very very minute fritting to the rim which is quite normal for Jiajing pieces but there is no chip and no crack and there is a nice sound when tapped.

This peach bloom glazed long neck vase is a late 19th or early 20th century product. It is 9 3/8” high and 4” wide from the widest part. Aside from one air bubble (like a small lump) due to the firing, it is in great condition.

Very rare, Gulong Miao children’s jacket from Guizhou. This is a side opening style, made from all hand woven cloth (except for the inner sleeve lining) with hand embroidered anthropomorphic figures, on a calendared greenish cotton ground. A superb quality bronze buddha from Thailand, 15th-16th. century AD.
The Buddha stands erect with his right hand raised in abhaya mudra and his left gracefully extended alongside his body. He is standing on a tall and very elaborate bronze lotus throne, perhaps slightly later from the 18th. century. It fits it perfectly.

An actor in street attire standing in front of a row of shops and tea houses by Osaka artist Sadahiro (active 1830-1851) dating circa 1845. A pupil of Kunisada, Sadahiro's woodblock prints were published in Osaka in the 1830's and 1840's. The seal of the publisher Iseya Sensaburo appears on the actor's head. The artist's signature is in black ink at the lower left. Exceptional color and impression with lacquer highlights on the edge of the inner kimono and mica in the background...
A fine 18th Century Kano school painting depicted peony flowers. Behind the scene is a stream. It is painted with pigments of green (rokusho), which has been richly used. The combination of red and white flower symbolizes good fortune. This subject was painted in life size and a very good example of Kano school peony painting.

This carved ox horn statue of a fairy is an early 20th century product. It depicts a fairy with one hand holding a flower branch while her other hand is holding a bamboo basket with more flowers inside. It is 10 ¼” high (11 ¼” high with base), 3” wide from the bottom and 2 ¼” in depth. Aside from small chips on the bottom rim, it is in great condition.
Attractive blackstone cylinder seal, Eastern Anatolia, Hattite/Hittite period of the 2nd. millenium BC.
The seal depicts a large horned animal, probably an antilope, and a much smaller capride, Tree of Life as spacer. Interestingly, the seal is hollowed out perfectly to a high degree.

A lovely bronze water basin was preserved in nice patina.
With an inscription Chen down underside, the basin was in adequate weight comparing with its size.
It was a typical scholar item in small size, whatsoever still owned the strong scholar taste.
