Authentic Ancient Holy Land Canaanite. Late Bronze Age circa. 1550 -1200 B.C. The Age of the Mosses. Extremely well-made large Terracotta oil lamp with teardrop-shaped body with deep bowl and steep edges that curve slightly over at the top with pinched spout to use for the wick.

Provenance: Ex Private old Canadian collection of antiques and antiquities formed in the 1980s.

Authentic Ancient Roman, 2nd-3rd century A.D. Terracotta Oil lamp.Carinated body. Mold-made. Small, plain discus with central filling hole; channel incised with diagonal lines between discus and nozzle, flanked by large volutes. Broad, sloping shoulder decorated with a row of twelve cylindrical shapes decorated at tops with incised lines and impressed circles.
