This exceptional Eastgate is made from highly sought after carnelian agate. It is 11/16" and is classic in style. It is thin and well flaked on both sides. It is just an exquisite delicate little point with great patina. Ex. Norma Berg collection.
Japanese Cedar, Cyprus wood two(2) section Tansu, Ca. Meiji period 1890's, 42" high, 35 1/2" wide, 16 1/2" deep, 2 graduated size long drawers above 2 long drawers in lower section, total 4 long drawers. Old red lacquer on black iron back plates are still visible. Small hole on the lower left side of bottom frame. The condition is original as found condition.

This fabulous Columbia River Gem Point is made from yellow, orange and ice translucent agate. It is Ex. Norma Berg collection. It is 13/16" and very thin. I haven't seen a color like this in 40 years of collecting.
A rare Mother and child Han Oil Lamp.The Mother is sitting and holding the hand of the child. The head piece was used for the oil holding the oil. Size: H. 26.8cm. W. 11cm.
Condition: Most of the green glaze is gone and there is an old repair break around the head. See photos.
Antique Japanese gusoku bitsu (carrying box for samurai armor). Constructed of Kiri (paulownia) wood with original red lacquer finish and black lacquer frame, its edges reinforced with hand-forged iron plates and locks. The back has shoulder straps, made of leather and braided reeds, on iron rings for carrying. A kanji inscription between the leather straps gives the previous owner's name.

Antique Chinese bronze mirror. The front is decorated with motifs of birds, squirrels, and grapes in high relief. The largest center squirrel is pierced through for attaching to a silk cord. The opposite side is a flat and smooth mirror surface in deep shades of green and black. Original patina.

A very large and superb quality bronze figure of Shou Lao, the God Of Longetivity, also called the undying, China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD).
The bronze figure with the well-known features of Shou Lao, in a wonderful Ming Dynasty style. The Stick and hand was cast seperately to the figure, and afterwards mounted as was costum during Ming Dynasty with the more difficult casting processes. A filled casting flaw on the back is also from the time of the making and typical for the period...
A Fine Large Japanese Imari Bowl, Meiji, 19th Century.
A fine and substantial Arita Imari rinka bowl. Six panels, inside and out, are alternatively decorated with ho-o birds and flowers.
The centre of the bowl depicts the shochikubai, the three friends of winter. A suggestion of breaking waves can also be observed to the left of the screens.

A Very Fine/Rare Korean Pigments Enameled Wood Carved Wedding Duck-19th C.: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century
A quite large and finely carved wood duck painted with a thick natural mineral pigments in white, light brownish red, green, blue and black over the surfaces for a wedding ceremonial events, the base has a rectangular in-hole for fitting, its head is removal.
It’s in excellent condition with old pigment colors with some areas faded,
measures 12’ (30.5cm)...
An unusual and rare unique Han white stone pendant with various colors in the stone, carved in a most interesting way. There are two old beads with the stone,the red one Ming and the other Tang. Age: Han Dynasty - 206BC - 220 AD. Size: L. 4cm. W. 3cm. Condition: Very good. No repairs or cracks.

Rare Japanese gyosho kannon bako. Constructed of Kiri wood with original red lacquer finish. The piece is fitted with hand-forged iron plates and mounts. The front of the chest holds 3 small drawers in its lower section, with a pair of large doors above. The interior of the chest has a large open compartment with a long drawer long the top. The sides are fitted with iron rings and handles with a long cord so the piece may be carried on a merchant's back.

A beautiful square cover embroidered in silk threads with botehs and volutes. The ground fabric is a block printed twill weave, edged with a silk velvet border. Cotton lining. Condition: few tiny thin areas, few missing and loose threads, Little faded, lining with stains. Dimension: c. 77.5 cm x 75 cm.
Small serving dish of square, mokuzuke, of octagonal shape with two handles standing off the side. Thin light-colored stoneware covered with cream-colored glaze with fine crackle filled in the brown color from the foot to ¾ of the height. On top of the cream-colored glaze some iron-brown decorations of pine needle, plum blossom, cross hatch design and a mon-shaped design and a splash of green glaze with some blue in it.
