Chinese Pottery Covered Jar in Globular Form with Incised Rings Design, with some remaing red color and soil encrustration on the surface. The three legs of the jar have bear design, trace of original remains in good condition.

Description:
A black pottery inks-tone was a rare survivor of scholar items from ancient time.
With characteristic image of a toad, the ink-stone was assembled by a cover and a basin.
Vividly it was depicted on the surface with toad's skin when old adhesives were preserved within the pleats.
One old chip was found on the side of the cover.

Date: Tang Dynasty, 618-907.
