A rectangular repoussé box, decorated with peony, floral sprays and Buddhist symbols. The sides decorated with meanders, the back with floral motives and a ‘Shou’ character, symbolizing longevity. Both sides of the box have gilded details. Dimensions: 10 x 8,5 x 4,5 cm. Weight: 242 g. The box is in very good condition and has normal age wear. Date: 19th to early 20th century.

A 19th century felt applique with the archaic designs characteristic of the art from this region. The colors are all natural and unfaded. The piece is exceptionally well drawn and in outstanding condition. It measures 22 inches. A genuine 19th century example.
Chinese antique snuff bottle, carved entirely from turquoise in the form of a small adorable toad. The lower body of the toad appears more green and transitions to the classic turquoise blue in the upper body and face. the stone is mottled with natural dark brown oxide veining. The small toad is carved with a smiling, open mouth with a carved turquoise stopper.

Japanese set of 10 blue and white sobachoko or soba cups. With cobalt blue underglaze floral motifs and ocean landscapes, double ring below the inner rim, and a floral medallion in the center of the well with single ring. The foot is slightly recessed and left unglazed except for the center.

Necklace made of 13 carnelian and 14 enamelled silver beads, each ca. 2 cm. long. There are 52 small silver beads between the large ones. At the bottom two dragons chasing the flaming pearl. Hanging on 2 lingzi hooks there is a silver pendant in the shape of a boy riding a qilin, a fertility symbol. At the bottom of the pendant 2 turquoise beads and 2 carnelian flowers. The pendant without the beads measures 8 x 7 cm. The complete necklace is ca. 31 cm. high, the strand is ca. 52 cm long...
A Chinese porcelain vase covered with beautiful flambe glaze, and decorated with a pair of molded mask and ring handles on the shoulder. 18th century. Condition: The foot rim is lightly ground; chips around inside the foot rim which happened before firing. No other flaw other than these. Height: 13-3/4".
A pair of early 19th century beaded deer hide moccasins. Seed beads, deer skin, clear beads, silk ribbon. The moccasins are probably from Niagara Falls area. c. 1830-40

This is a children's kimono used in Kyoto during the Edo period. This is depicted in Tsutsugaki. This is exactly the bold expression only Tsutsugaki has. It is the carps, waves and rocks, movements are boldly expressed in Tsutsugaki. It is a three-dimensional expression. It has a sharp color. This is expressed in high quality natural indigo and is impressive. It has four pinholes and a few slight stains, but it does not stand out. Size length 92 cm 36.2 inch width 88 cm 34.6 inch

A small Korean personal chest with dramatic Elm hardwood front panels. The top set of doors opens to an inner compartment with carved hardwood border, and six small drawers. The middle doors and lower drop-down lid open to a large compartment lined in Korean paper. The upper and lower set of doors are book-matched so the natural woodgrain appears to mirror itself. The piece is fully detailed with brass hardware and plates.

Chinese blue and white cylindrical porcelain incense vessel with a hardwood lid, carved with openwork lingzhi mushroom motifs and tripod feet. The vessel body depicts a scene of a scholar and attendant standing against a large rock formation. The sun in the sky above and the moon on the reverse side. Two fu dog heads form the pierced handles on the vessel.
