The lower set has two small drawers behind the doors and another area for more storage...

This is a simple blue and white porcelain hand made spoon from 19th century China. It measures roughly 9.5 cm and is in good condition but may have minor chips. Makes a great conversation piece or decorative accent. I have several available. This one has a hand applied, post glaze character on the underside that likely was inscribed by the original owner.

Makie landscape art on the drawer fronts and sliding doors with Makie Phoenix motif to the interior floors. Two sets of doors open to an ornate interior featuring a dragon, flowers, a Toro and a plinth where Buddha would sit or stand. 3 side by side drawers at the bottom of the inner sanctum where small accessories were kept...

Qing dynasty blue and white bowl, decorated with a dragon head and body at the center, the tail cross over the wall to exterior. Good condition and free from restoration.16,5cm diameter. 7 cm high.

Important and rare bowl, large in size, scalloped in shape, with a small heel, from the Satsuma kilns. On a blue enamel background, the decoration represents cherry blossoms with a couple of peacocks among peonies inside. The whole is of a very good quality of gold and polychrome enamels. Meiji period (1868-1912). Signed Koshida. Diameter 18,5 cm height : 7 cm.

An antique Japanese Katana Tansu (sword storage chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware including the Warabite style handles. Side handles for ease of carrying. Large drawer used to store the Katana while the medium drawer stored the Wakizashi. The small drawer stored the sharpening and cleaning supplies for the weapons.

Age: Meiji Era (1868-1880)
