This is wonderful Japanese antique tsutsugaki textile of umakake horse Cover in Edo period. The material is thick indigo dye cotton. As for the design of the rabbit that flies between waves, the design like auspicious. There is slightly a stain. There is no damage. The state is very good. Wood is lacquered in Negoro style - gold lacquer over red, so as the netsuke wears the color of a lower layer starts showing. Very beautifully done himotoshi on the back, superb wear and patina, very impressive sculpture...

Quality early Chinese toggle of an old Sage resting; natural material; possibly converted to a netsuke in Japan; good patina and condition

Two lids decorated in Famille rose colours in the Canton Famille rose or Rose Medallion style. Early 19th century, both with gilt berry handles. One lid is for a large vase or a soup bowl, ecuelle, and the smaller for a cup. Outer diameter of the rims that have to fit into another vessel is "2½/ 6,4 cm and "5½/ 13,7 cm respectively. Condition: repairs and a nick (cf pics).
