There is a waterfall legend about “The Dragon Gate": thousands of koi fishes tried to jump to the waterfall for hundreds of years but failed, and after sometime passed one koi determined to reach the top of the waterfall and finally made it to the top. The Gods rewarded the koi by turning him into a beautiful, shiny, Golden Dragon...

A handle surmounts the peak of this beautifully rendered vase by Myagawa (Makuzu) Kozan enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Seiji-yu Sometsuke Te-oke-gata Kabin (Celadon Handled Bucket Shaped Vase with Blue and White Design). It is 16 cm (6 inches) diameter, 32.5 cm (13 inches) tall and in excellent condition...

Nine small brass weights originating from the African Gold Coast. The top decorated with different geometric ornaments as spirals, waves, swastika - one in the shape of a pyramid. Used for weighing gold dust which for centuries was the currency of the region. Condition: fine. Dimension: pyramid: 2.7 cm x 2.8 cm x 2 cm.

This is an exquisite satsuma cup and saucer set. The work is very finely detailed and difficult to pick up with the camera. Saucer is 4 1/4 inches across. Cup is 3 3/4 inches across at the handle. Both pieces in nearly mint condition and both are signed Matsumoto Hozan.

Nice shape, nice smooth glossy bluegreen glaze. Longquan ware of the Yuan Dynasty. Diameter : 7,5 cm. Condition : Perfect.

A really nice set of Danish Neolithic weapons, incl. a huge lancet dagger and a pophyre battle-axe, mid-late 3rd. mill. BC.

Both pieces are housed together in a costum oak box with beige skin inside.

The dagger really large and and of the finest parallel knapping of the period. Unfortunately, an almost invisible hairline repair and small loss to the tip - 25,3 cm. long!

The battle axe made in a fine pophyre stone with nice inclusions...

This superb Japanese Meiji Period (1868~1912) oblong cloisonné plate is 8 1/8” long, 6 7/8“ wide and ½” thick. It depicts two flying cranes, peonies and chrysanthemums on a burgundy background. It is in excellent condition.

Antique Chinese brush pot. Carved of beautiful, heavy and dense huanghuali wood. Dark color wood with dark patina and lighter honey brown striations. Thick sides, carved with slight outward flare, wider at the mouth. Foot and rim are carved with subtle, fine cusp. With plug in bottom. A prized object for any scholar's table.

Antique Japanese scroll painting of blossoming morning glories on a vine. painted in vibrant mineral colors on silk. Signed by the artist. "Kido Son, 貴堂草衣, (1899-1984) was born in Kyoto. He studied painting at the Kyoto Municipal School of Painting and under Yamamoto Shunkyo (1871-1933)...

A fine bronze depicting "Buddha and The Naga King Mucalinda", 17-18th Century, Burma. Comes with an attractive custom made stand. Size: H. 14 cm. x 8.5 cm. excluding the stand. Rare collector's item.

The exterior of the deep rounded sides carved with a band of petals rising from the foot to the flat everted rim, and the interior decorated in the center with two molded fish, covered overall with a glaze of guan type sea-green tone except for the foot rim burnt reddish-brown in the firing 21.7 cm diam. Minor restoration to the hairline on the rim, no chips or other damages.

Gorgeous Chinese silk robe in an ivory color, with allover pattern of silk dragons and clouds. The breast of the robe has a large, beautiful phoenix with cascading feathers in light pink, grey, gold, and off white, with pink forbidden stitching around its face.
