This figure has nicely rendered facial features with original pigments of black, red and yellow remaining. The figure's hair has significant pigment remaining with a band around the head. A Fukagawa tea pot. Iris decoration from Chuji Fukagawa's own 19th century design book. Blue underglaze and red, yellow and gold overglaze enamel decoration. Mt. Fuji mark inside the foot ring and Mt. Fuji with Fukagawa Sei in underglaze blue inside the cover. 4 1/8 inches to finial. 7 inches from handle to spout tip. Late Meiji or early Taisho. Good condition save smallest glaze frits on spout tip...

This Japanese okimono quality bronze turtle has a champleve decorated shell that opens to reveal a pipe stand. The turtle measures about 6 1/2" long x 3" wide x 2" tall and dates to the turn of the Century. The turtle has the makers' impressed seal underneath. The condition is very good with just a chip to the end of the tail and the hinge pin is missing. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.

Chinese Qing dynasty blue and white export porcelain deep punch bowl decorated around the exterior circumference in the traditional Canton or Nanking pattern with figures on bridges and in boats on a lake, willow trees, and traditional buildings in a landscape scene. A circular panel in the center of the bowl holds a similar scene. A geometric band extends around the interior and exterior rim. Solidly 19th century. 11 1/4" diameter x 4 1/2" high. This old Mongolian artifact was made from leather hides sewn together with leather cord and then formed into a servicable shape approximating an irregular bottle. Handling and pouring was aided by the wooden handles.

A folk art object approx 150 years old and used for many years as a sake container saki. It is approx 19 inches high and 16 inches at the widest point about 10 inches deep.

19th century Japanese kozuka (sword knife) handle with multimetal inlays depicting two silver fern fronds and a length of shimenawa - a rice straw rope used for ritual purification in the Shinto religion. Decoration most probably refers to a particular festival. Superb crisp work - see the fine textures of both leaves and rope, silver and bronze inlays, gilding, finely textured ground called nanako, which means “fish-eggs” as it resembles fine rows of caviar, in great condition...

18th century Indian bronze votive sculpture of dancing Krishna playing a flute, cast in the State of Orissa. This avatar of Vishnu playing flute for gopis is known as Krishna Venugopala (as always in this image, flute was cast separately, and is missing). Excellent casting and detailing (see his eyes inlaid with silver), wonderful face, beautiful patina, very pleasant feel of age to the sculpture. Height 5 7/8 inches.

Antique Chinese beautiful agate brushwasher with carved berries and leaves on creeping vines. The stem and a bunch of berries are the feet of this piece. The wonderful warm orangeish brown tone areas have been carved skillfully as the leaves. 20th Century Size: 1.5" height, 4.25" length, 3.25" width

A Song Qingbai cup, rounded side with flat base covered with bluish white glaze. Measure W=6.5 cm, H=3.5 cm Yuan Dynasty Condition : perpect, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration.

Attractive cobalt blue MING bowl with fine decor and under glaze mark. Rings on base, foot, inner and outer rim as well as around a center medallion. Good condition, one hairline, no cracks, chips nor restoration. Size: 2.75" ( 7cm.) x 6" ( 15 cm.) diameter.

A genuine TANG DYNASTY (618-906 A.D.), China, EWER-KENDI drinking vessel with spout. Exceptional natural emerald green/black patina (river find)! Good overall condition, tiny chip on the very front of the spout. Base is not glazed. Size: height: 6 3/4" inches x 5" center diameter(17 cm. x 13 cm. center diameter). VERY RARE.
