Chinese Qing dynasty bronze censer / incense burner with Xuande mark at the base. Good condition except censer has been washed. 19 cm wide. 14 cm mouth rim diameter. 8,5 cm high. 939 gram weight.

Antique Japanese fubako, box for holding letters. Made of lacquered wood with a design of young pine and blossoming plum branches. Both box and lid are decorated in maki-e gold and silver lacquer over a delicate nashiji on a black lacquer ground. The interior has clouds of dense gold nashiji and two mon on the underside of the lid.

A large Korean bedside chest or Morijang. The top of the chest holds a row of 3 drawers with hinged double doors below, and a row of four drawers along the very bottom of the piece. Motifs of butterflies and auspicious symbols are seen throughout the hardware plating. The interior holds a single curved shelf with decorating metal plating and a locking mechanism to hold its front doors securely shut.

Antique Japanese Sendai region clothing tansu made with beautiful Keyaki wood in original red lacquer finish, the front frame edged in black lacquer, with large floral motif iron hardware, and a side lockbox with two drawers inside. A large Korean porcelain jar, glazed in a transparent white with slight blue undertones. The upper body is rounded, with a short, flat rim and glazed interior. The lower body tapers down with a slightly fluting foot, left bare along the rim.

Antique Japanese single section mizuya (kitchen tansu). Made with sugi (cryptomeria) wood and hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood refinished to reveal the beauty of the natural wood grain. Iron hardware with round lock plates and warabite shaped drawer pulls. The tansu has three large drawers on the right and a compartment with sliding panels over two smaller drawers on the left.

A large Chinese brush pot hand carved from solid Zitan hardwood. The brush pot has a cylindrical natural form with interesting root texturized edges. An unusual scholars brush pot holder. The zitan shows "gold threading" running with that of the dark grain.

Antique pair of small bronze seated Qilin. Cast with heads facing upward and mouths open. Details of scales and striated tails. Each has a single horn. As scholar objects, it is possible that these were once used as scroll weights. Each Qilin stands on an antique carved hardwood stand.

A Chinese Qingbai Glazed Vase with Petalled Rim. Circa, 12th-13th Century, Song-Yuan Dynasty. Found in the Philippines. Featuring a thin and delicately potted lobbed-ovoid shaped body, supported by a flaring foot and is surmounted by a waisted neck that flares to a petal-cut rim. It is covered overall in a translucent glaze of aquamarine tone and its base is fully unglazed. Measurements: height (6"inches). Condition: in perfect condition...
