This is another incredible bronze spear from the Dong Son culture in ancient Southeast Asia (circa 250 BC). This particular piece has a very unusual pointed socket. The shape of the blade is very uncommon as well. The piece is solid and stable with no signs of repair or damage. It measures 321mm and weighs 241 grams. This is a truly rare example ancient bronze weaponry.

Superbly cast and reworked and finely polished bell with spikes and an archaic design.

A large red and black three tiered bamboo lacquer ceremonial food basket from the Qing Dynasty. Size: H. 44cm. W. 36.8cm. Condition: Very good. No repairs. Some lacquer loss on the top edges. See photos.

This is an authentic Tibetan cast bronze Buddha, shown in the "earth-touching" gesture,witnessing his divinity, and sealed with a double-dorje (vajra) impressed mark. The piece is complete and retains the consecration in the interior of the statue. The piece measures 3-1/2" in height and is in excellent condition, save for a small, nearly invisible, crack along the front of the neck,as shown in the photos. The head has not been broken off or reattached and the piece is completely stable...

19th century kagamibuta (mirror lid) netsuke with multimetal disc worked in low relief scene of a man drawing water from a well, his wooden bucket next to him. Excellent crisp work, wonderful face, gilding, inlaid copper bucket, great patina. Beautifully turned marine material (walrus tusk) bowl with excellent patina. Disc diameter 1 5/16 inches, bowl diameter 1 7/8 inches.

A fantastic quality Middle- or Neo-Assyrian cylinder seal of a tall and thick type, c. 12th.-8th. century BC.

The seal carved in a rare attractive green-black stone with an Archer and winged sphinx. Top and bottom with a fine herringbone band. Multiple symbols in the fields and the archer has a detailed quiver on his back.

A finely carved late- to Neo-Assyrian black stone cylinder seal, depicting running animal in a fine style and very high relief, above is star and crescent, mid-to late Assyrian.

An exceptional stamp seal in a fine harder greyish green stone, Anatolia / Northern Syria c. 4th. millenium BC.

The base of the seal is engraved with a fantastic and very graphical depiction of a flock of birds in flight.

A superb Gable seal type with perfect symethri and sharp lines and the impressive size makes it worthy of any collection of early seals.

A rare Imperial Yellow Ming Pottery Goutou tile terminal, late 14th or early 15th century, probably South Nanjing, Jiangsu province. The circular roundel is moulded with an Imperial ‘Five Claw Dragon’ in a fine yellow glaze.
