3 pieces trio set of Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain set, consist of the Tea Bowl, Saucer and a demitasse cup with handle, Ca. 1800, 5" diameter(saucer), 3" diameter and 1 3/4" high(tea bowl), 2 1/4" high and 3 1/8" wide include handle(demitasse cup), decorated overglaze gold and orange color of Initials "JMB" within pink floral drapes along the rim as well as inner circle, demitasse cup has restored chip on the rim, tea bowl and saucer are in good condition.

Hand shrine, or zushi, in the shape of a lotus bud, carved in two halves. On the inside, on one side the standing figure of Amida Nyorai on a lotus base, his hands in mudra. The other half of the lotus bud is decorated with a mutsume pattern (imitating a triaxial weaving) in kirikane (very thin strips of gold foil). Japan, Edo period, early 19th century.

Fairly large zushi hand shrine in the shape of a lotus petal. Double sided, made of sandalwood.
Inside each half is a deep relief carving of Buddhist deities. On one side the three-eyed Aizen Myoo with a lion crown, sitting on a lotus base in the clouds before a red mandorla. His six hands hold Vajra and ghanta, bow and arrow, and lotus bud and pouch. On the other side the two-armed Kannon bosatsu, holding a lotus bud in the left hand, sitting on a lotus base in the clouds...

Rather unusual late 18th to early 19th century Japanese bronze temple decoration fixture of a tennin - a female buddhist angel - as it flies playing a Shu - Japanese musical instrument from a flute group used in Shinto ceremony and consisting of bamboo reeds forming a circular wind chamber. Wonderful design, beautiful flow of her billowing scarves, gilded highlights, great patina. Very well cast, pleasantly heavy, peg on the back for fixing it to a temple or pedestal wall. Length 6 inches.

An antique Japanese Wood Buddhist altar fitting known as a keman. The hand fan like shape were thought to have originated from flower garland offerings seen in India. The keman is decorated with motifs of lotuses with two apsaras. The top of the keman has the crest of the Tokugawa family. Age: Edo Period 17/18th century, Size: Length 25" Height 9.5" Width 1.5"

This is the Tsutsugaki curtain used in the Edo period. This was made in the Kyushu region. It is made of fine cotton that is hand spun. This is a person expressing a wooden raft that flows through the river in the season when the cherry blossoms fall. This pattern is a pattern called flower raft. This is a very idyllic depiction of the boatman's expression. The design of the boatman on the raft to go down the river where the cherry blossoms are falling is very elegant and beautiful...

This is a perfect blue and white bowl with the chrysanthemum design from late ming to ealy qing period, there is a leaf in the interior and on the bottom there is the double circle ring and a character 'Tian' or sky

It is 18.5 inches (47.1 cm) tall by 8.7 inches (22 cm) wide. It is 8834 gram (19.5 Lb).

It is tarnished and has oxidation, pitting, firing holes, casting imperfection, chips at the tip of the ushnisha, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Chinese Export Rose Mandarin low relief and open design Porcelain Brush Pot, 4 1/2" high, 2 1/2" diameter, Ca. 1830, with molded and low relief design of Chinese Scholars in the garden scene, raised design in overglaze enamel decoration. Glaze star crack on the bottom and two(2) stains on unglazed bottom rim. Some kiln bubbles popped on the gilded top rim which is somewhat worn from the usage.

This is Japanese edo hemp indigo katabira tsutsugaki kimono Rare. It is textile in Edo period(1800-1867). There is a little repair mark. There is a little small hole. However, the state is very good. This is Katsugi used in the latter half of the Edo era(1800 ~ 1868) in Tohoku. This is good-quality Katugi produced in a district for Edo period. This is Katsugi produced with a tradition of Kyoto in a district. This has Oomon to a shoulder center part. This was dyed with a natural indigo plant. As for this, the bottom part is colored into black. As for this, Katazome of the small build is expressed by three patterns. The part of the hem is Tsutsugaki, and this is expressed...

This is a Japanese antique excellent silk kinran Weave and hand-embroidery kesa textile of the edo era(1800-1867) . The lining is silk safflower dyed. There are some stains, and a part of the embroidery thread is peeled off. There is a small hole. But they don't stand out. Recommended for your antique textile collection.
