Japanese bronze vase in the shape of a stalk of bamboo, with a snail crawling upside down on its frontside and a toad leaning against its base, looking up at the snail. Has a signature signed Atsuyoshi with a seal from the workshop by the artists of Maruki studio and cartouche on its lower backside.

This lidded jar is painted with two lion dogs frolicking among peony flowers, all on an imperial yellow ground. The lid is similarly decorated with a single peony bloom. Thinly potted and marked porcelain dish, decorated in underglaze Cobalt blue with the design of a Crab. Middle Ming Period, fifteenth century. The design of a Crab is common on Kangxi dishes and dishes of later Qing Dynasty Periods. On dishes of the Ming Dynasty the decoration of a Crab is quite rare. Diameter : 11,8 cm. A large Kakiemon dish decorated with the Three Friends of Winter to the rim and a central motif of a Peony. The reverse decorated with a continuous lotus scroll and a spiral fuku in a double square. The dish dates to the late seventeenth century circa 1680-1700. The dish measures approximately 25 cm in diameter and stands 6cm high. The dish is in good condition, except for a crack to the rim and small filled chip. Shipping at Cost.

An early 18th Century porcelain tea bowl and saucer decorated in underglaze blue with overgalze iron red and green enamels in "Verte Imari" style. This item was made in China for export to Europe early in the 18th Century, probably during the reign of the Yongzheng emperor (1723-1735). . Bowl: 4cm (1.5 inches) high; 7cm (2.75 inches) diameter. Saucer: 11.5cm (4.5 inches) diameter.

A Very Rare/Fine Korean Blue-Glazed Turtle-Shape Water Dropper-19th C.: Korea, Joseon dynasy, 19th century. Finely and realistically molded turtle-shape water dropper, with a long head as a water spout, and carved turtle shells geomatically on the top, applied over all blue glaze, the flat base unglazed with black ink and some earth. It’s very fine coditon without any damages, it measures 8.5cm L. x 6.2cm w. x 3.5cm h.

Only one of a kind! Distorted half cylinder shaped (near kutsugata) tea bowl made of light, coarse unrefined Mino clay. It dates from the Momoyama Period.

The expertly thrown body is covered with the typical feldspatic shino glaze inside and outside, with the exception of the bottom' the roughly cut foot ring. A very minor iron oxide content of the clay has changed the white shino glaze to light pink (beni). This is absolutely rare...
