The expertly thrown body is covered with the typical feldspatic shino glaze inside and outside, with the exception of the bottom' the roughly cut foot ring. A very minor iron oxide content of the clay has changed the white shino glaze to light pink (beni). This is absolutely rare...

Covered with ge type green celadon to the footrim, unglazed base. The bowl decorated with incised 8 idol in the petal. Diameter = 17 cm, height = 10 cm. Yuan Dynasty. Perfect, no chips, cracks or hairlines and free from restorations.

Bronze Ming Dynasty censer in the shape of a Buddha's hand citron, a citrus planet originating from China, named so for its resemblance to hand gestures known as mudra, which Buddha is commonly depicted making. The censer's lid has the shape of leaves and the plant sits on its own vines.

The central reserve is decorated in kinsai style with gilt and gilt outlined enamels with a “winter” landscape incorporating Bamboo, Take, Pawlonia, Kiri and Suisen, Japanese Narcissus partially obscured by cloud like ground fog, and finger form kuomo style clouds...

A rectangular dish, kakunagazara, made for the Japanese domestic market decorated with an auspicious manji-tsunagi, wan diaper, gilt brocade ground inset with ume hana, plum blossom inset with niche like lobed reserves containing stylised Camellia, Tsubaki. The central reserve, mikomi, window, containing geometrically arranged stylised Bamboo, take, Bamboo shoots and grasses with mist or clouds in Kumo finger form painted in underglaze blue...

A Yuan dynasty longquan celadon washer, rounded side with globular body and glazed base, decorated with carved flower petals motif at the exterior, covered with good green celadon color, good condition no damage no chip no crack no restoration, with small part have original kiln glaze fault and minor glaze crackled on the surface please see picture detail, size: 12 cm diameter.

A fine Song celedon jarlet olive green in color. Symmetrical with a nice shape and fine sheen to the glaze. Small chip to one side. Dimensions: diameter of 2.25 inches, height 1.50 inches.

Up for sale is this solid and fine seated bronze Guan Yin. It has an old Kanxi mark, but we think this statue dates from the Qing Dynasty in the 19th.cent. and was not made earlier. The statue has a lot of interesting carved ornaments.

Hand polished bronze in good condition with only little traces of age.
