This flag is a very superior item produced by a bold line of Tutugaki, the delicate line of the sumi painting. The image of red Kintarou is an item to keep off an evil and smallpox. And the people prayed it in hope of the growth of the child. There are 22 places of embroidery marks of the flag. It is the embroidery that it is very unique, and is charming. 22 embroidery has each meaning.

This is another antique wine bottle of the Song Dynasty from our collection.
This large wine bottle is about 1000 years old and has been made in the Ji Kiln. It has a dark glazed body with an some unglazed dragon / phoenix decoration.
It is in good condition. There are only some little spoils of time and a little scratch ( please watch photos )...

Japanese Arita Blue and White Large Dish. Decorated with a deer standing in a landscape. L17thC Diameter 12.5" (31.7cm). Condition; good, some crazing to glaze especially to rear. Frit to rim.
Statue of a taoist dignitary, in formal attire, standing with a martial posture on an elevated base. Votive box still closed at the back. Wood, with remnants of superimposed layers of polychrome and gold painting. China, 19th century. Height: 13 " (32,5 cm). Douchuugi is Kimono which a person wore at the time of going out. This Douchuugi is the kimono which a samurai wore in a trip. List cloth is cotton. And lacquer is painted the surface with. Because it was able to rub against the surface which created beautiful changes. However, it is beautiful like "unintentional art". A thickly potted Arita porcelain vase finely decorated with polychrome enamels depicting three Cranes amongst flowering Peony shrubs. This item was made in Japan in the 19th Century.

An Extremely Rare Korean Silver Inlaid with a Magpie and Tiger Covered Box-19th C.: Joseon period , late 19th century.
This is an extremely rare silver inlaid box with a Magpie and Tiger medallion (the Symbol of Korean Traditional Folk Art) on the cover, and symbols of logevity-cranes and deers- and another tiger on the four sides surround by bands of key-fret work and floral diaperwork, rounded within a matching border.
It’s very fine condition but some silver inlay missing.

A European shape porcelain tea caddy painted in underglaze blue depicting houses and pavillions in a river landscape.
This item was made in Jingdezhen (southern China) for export to Europe, circa 1760-1780, during the reign of the Qianlong emperor.

This is an absolutely rare black Seto chawan ( setoguro chawan ) from the late Momoyama Period, which means the late 16th century or the changeover from Azuchi Momoyama to early Edo.
Blackish-brown glaze amalgamates with a wild and roughly thrown body. It is very heavy for a tea bowl, almost 500g. Please note that there is also an interesting kiln mark ( watch image number 3 )
Setoguro yaki is high-fired ware that originated in the late 16th century...
A rare and finely carved 18th Century Chinese "honey yellow" soapstone Luohan, probably Damo (Bodhidarma). On the back is carved "made by Shang Jun".
Condition - very good. This item was originally set with semi-precious stones but, with the exception of one white stone on the collar behind the neck, all are now missing; there are natural "flaws" intrinsic to the stone which pre-date the carving. There have been no repairs and there has been no restoration.
