Single section Mizuya (kitchen buffet tansu) with set of four sliding Keyaki panels opening to a open space with a single removable shelf inside.
Lined along the bottom are a set of 5 pull out drawers with beautifully finished quartered sawn keyaki drawers.
Hand forged iron hardware. Natural blond finished with fine carpentry details. Overall in very good condition. Ready to go!

Antique Japanese small Bizen ware oil lamp in the form of Fukurokuju, one of the 7 Lucky Gods. Easily identified by his elongated head on top of which is a small bowl for oil. This is an Amygdaloidal Basalt, heavy, but well hollowed, of flattened globular shape with a short broad cylindrical neck, and an oval recessed foot. Engraved with lion masks to both shoulders. The background is dark gray, almost black, and the attractive mineral inclusions of various shapes are light brown, light blue, gray, green, light green and some shades of rosette. Some of the various shape forms have various colors inside...

Antique Japanese ko tansu (personal storage chest) made with kiri (paulownia) wood drawer fronts and sugi (cryptomeria) wood body and drawer interiors. 5 drawers of various sizes. Finished with red and black negoro lacquer finish. Hand forged iron hardware including hirute drawer pulls and round lock plates.

Archaic Chinese bronze bowl with rounded sides and flared rim. Cast with a ring foot. The outer body of the bowl is cast with two bands of repeating patterns interrupted by two handles, one one each side. The handles are taotie masks with loose rings. Beautiful green patination and mineral deposits.
