Antique Japanese cloisonne jewelry/treasure box, made from bronze, with deep navy blue sides decorated with gold cloud shapes. The lid has a beautiful cloisonne landscape with overhanging cherry blossoms on tree branches, a tower and building with blue roofing, and a red bridge crossing over a running river. The inside of the box is inscribed "Kyoto" and has the mark of artist Inaba Nanaho of The Inaba Cloisonne Company, established in 1887. Size: 1.75" height, 3.75" width

Adorable Soap stone carving of Fu dogs on wooden Stand. One large fu dog dominates as a small dog is perched on back, and two climb and encircle the large dog. Intricate detail in the bodies of dogs, showing fluidity and movement. Soapstone is set on a flat wood carved stand of lilies and branches. This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Austria in the late 19th century. It is unsigned other than some hand painted numbers. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high. The Japanese-style hand enameling is exquisitely executed. The raised enamel peonies are outlined with gold in an almost tapestry-like fashion. There are bands of gold beading and gold filigree trim just inside the rim of the cup and around the well of the saucer...

Length approximately 15 cm. Few minor damage to the stand. In good condition.

Japanese carved bone three(3) monkey design Fan Holder, Meiji period, 1 1/8" high, 2 1/4" wide, 1/2" deep, with opening on the bottom and wider opening on the top, carved serious money faces with black enameled wide eyes. There are some stains and wears on the surface.

Japanese carved and stained bone Brown Bear Cane/Walking Stick Handle, Meiji period, 1 1/4" high, 1 1/8" wide, 1 1/2" deep, long hair and long tail curved under copper band 3/8" high, 7/8" diameter on the bottom outside the hole. No damage on Brown Bear, some wears showing on copper band.

Chinese porcelain basin decorated with peony, phoenix, butterfly and other motifs in famille verte (wucai) enamel. Qing Dynasty, 19th century. Condition: there is one 1/4" chip on the rim, no other flaw other than this. Diameter: 11-1/2"; height: 2-3/4".

Each panel is beautifully done, an intense expression seen in the face of each bird, which were a very popular status symbol. Signed and stamped on each panel. From the Soga school of father and son Nichokuan and Chokuah.

A spectacular calligraphic work by E. Bambeck, signed and dated as part of the painting. Using pastels, watercolors, and pen and ink, he has limned a pair of very lifelike parakeets on white branches against a stark black background. The details and artistry that has gone into this work is truly of the highest order.

The condition is excellent, with no smudges, tears, toning or other problems. The bright white blobs in the center of some of the photos are reflections of lamps...

An unusual and attractive pair of tall mirrors, each reverse painted with a basket of flowers suspended from a green and gold tassel, further decorated with swags of bellflowers suspended from green and gold ribbons. Encased in original carved mahogany frames with original wood backboards .

Excellent condition with no issues. The sight size of each is 23 1/2" by 11 3/8" and the overall size of each is 34" by 22".

Decorated in white slip with stylised chrysanthemum sprays to the centre, within a border of blossoming sprays and foliage. 16th/17th Century 38 cm. diam. No chips, cracks, or hairlines and free from restorations.
