This silver inlaid iron candle stick is of a slender elegant design in an asymmetrical H-shape,
and is composed of three parts; light reflecting mirror silver inlaid with “Longevity”,
“Happyness” and a “Yin-Yang”, candle holder with a silver inlaid chain attacher and
removeable snuffer (snuffer missing) from the supporting stand post silver inlaid and
its Dot-shape joint silve...
A very rare piece, this foldable paktong scroll weight, which, when folded out, can be used as a frame for calligraphy. Finely engraved with a crane in a landscape. Dimensions: closed 20x2,3 cm, opened 15,5x7 cm. Age: 19th century. Condition: excellent.

Lantaka a 18th century cast bronze SWIVEL-CANNON “Rail Gun” or “Deck Cannon” solid bronze beautiful details measuring approximately 36 inches long. These cannon were used by the legendary Malay pirates, with small cannon-balls it was a powerful offensive weapon. Lantakas were manufactured during the 17th and early 18th century in Holland by Dutch East India Company for export to Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines...
