The bowl is decorated inside with ducks and enamel plants in the style of the "Famille Verte" we find the colors fired at low temperature aubergine, green, some very rare touches of blue and the fragile iron red, detail in gold. The outlines of the subjects are either black or red. The circles are in underglaze cobalt blue fired higth fire. The white backgrounds are decorated with a secret decoration of plants, incised before firing in the clay, it is difficult to see, one of the photos suggests...

Offered is this very scarce and quite early, circa 1890s, James and David Kinnell, Smooth Face Hickory Shaft Golf Club made in Scotland. Although smooth face golf clubs fell out of fashion by the very early 1900s, they were still offered in catalogues for a number of years beyond this date.

This smooth face club is stamped on the back "PRESTWICK KK CLUBS". The leather grip is in good condition, and the straight hickory shaft sports a nice aged patina.

Chinese Qing dynasty monochrome blue glazed censer with inward rounded rim. The white glazed interior ends at the circular unglazed center. This form evolved from a tripod censer and vestiges of the three legs remain as small protrusions at the bottom surrounding the unglazed circular base. The vessel features a reel-shaped body with stepped foot and a flange. The doomed top with the head of Medusa at center. Medusa is rendered with a round face and curls ending in snake heads.
The pyxis is made in one piece and open at the bottom. The piece was not intended for concrete use and served as richly decorated burial object.
The surface shows remains of the original white engobe with gilded areas.
